Hi, I'm just wondering how much you will pay for the I-751. The USCIS just updated their fees and it says $590 for the forms and biometrics. ($505 for the forms plus $85 for the biometrics). Do I need to pay full $590 or I have to pay $505 only for the forms and pay seperate for the biometrics? Your help is much appreciated.. Thanks

Hi alnesh1117.. Yes it is possible to get pc even u didnt had interview yet.. All u have to do is to go to USEM to and ask that u need to get a letter to present it in japan embassy.. You better have your appointment letter when u get to usem. and also ID..

thanks for the replies.. the brown envelope is open at the upper side of it. i can see my picture. i received it as that. i didnt open it. is it okay is the upper side of the brown envelope is opened when i received it. The upper side is cut. I am really worried. Does anyone have the same experience?

don't worry. yes its ok. the brown envelope is suppose to have 1 corner missing. everyone's brown envelope is opened on that corner.

INCLUDING MY PASSPORT COZ I'LLBE NEEDING IT FOR THE RELEASE OF MY POLICE CLEARANCE,,THEY GAVE ME THE WHITE SLIP CONTAINING THE INFORMATION THAT I NEED TO PASS MY POLICE CLEARANCE AND NEW VISA PICTURES WITHOUT COLOR CONTACTS....THEN THEY GAVE ME PINK SLIP ALSO...AND I PAID AT DELBROS .

"DO NOT WEAR COLORED CONTACTS ON YOUR VISA PICTURE" ...(JUST TO BE SAFE)

I just got my visa today and i was worried about the brown envelope. It is written there "do not open". The brown envelope is tore at the upper left. Just want to ask if it is ok to get my passport in the plastic envelope? thanks in advance

We have the same situation, I had my interview last May 8. I also told by the consul the same thing. I applied my PC at the Japan Embassy after my interview because i dont want to waste time. The lady there at the jap embassy are very nice. My pc takes 1 1/2 months. I called them to check if they already have my pc before to come and get it from them. I Filed my PC may 8 and received it last june 19. And I submitted my docs at the embassy last june 23. Now i am still waiting for what will happens next.

I already had my interview last may 8 and after the interview the consul told me to get pc from jap embassy that i didnt do before my interview Now i have to wait months to get that. But when i called the Usem for what will happen after i give them the pc, she said it will take another week/s. it depends on their workload. But if the consul who made the interview for me was not in the Usem they will endorse it to other consul.. I'm still praying that i can get pc within june 16 to 20. I am worried about the expiration of my medical.

Hi sbragg, Like your fiancee, i'm still waiting for the result of my sputum culture test. I will have the result this coming May 2.. I'm still praying that everything will went well.. I dont have any Idea about how long will it take when ur fiancee is negative on her medical. But as i read to some post here and to other friends here in vj, it will take just a week after the clearance given by the SLEC.

Thanks noelandtintin.. I was planning to get the police clearance from japan embassy but the problem is i have to have a request from the USEM to apply for it in japan embassy. And it takes two to three months after i get the certificate. I dont want to call USEM because i have to give my info if i call them and ask about that . I afraid maybe they will put me on AR or something to delay my visa..
