well, the consulate never picks up the phone nor they reply to email.

Thats why I am here searching for answers

i am just looking to find if someone has been in this situation and how much time does consulate generally take to send a second interview..

Interview was for IR5. 
when we went for the Medical - 1 week before the interview, they handed us a paper saying, "DO NOT go for he interview."

after more tests were done - 2 months later - the clinic sent us the medical approval and said they have sent it to the consulate, and you will get a new interview appointment within 7-8 days.

it's been 2+ weeks now - upon following up with the clinic - they said we just have to wait for the consulate to schedule and they cannot do anything about it.

My Mother was asked to go for Further Medical assessment due to which the Interview date was missed.

The Clinic has not submitted all clear medical report to the US Consulate, Mumbai

The clinic had told us that we should receive the new interview date within max 8 days - however it has now been 2 weeks.

Has anyone been in this situation - when to expect a new interview date ?

Interview on 9/8 is for Permanent Residence - IR5 category

The steps on NVC website said I should create a profile and get a VAC

My Parents have received a Interview Date of 9/8/23 in Mumbai

Before that I have scheduled a VAC appointment for 9/6/23 

1. Is this VAC appoint the Biometric appointment. ?

2. In the VAC appointment confirmation - it says Visa Priority = "Interview waiver" - does this mean that there will be no interview on 9/8 and they will directly get the visa when they go for biometric ?

I hope I am filling the right appointment forms.

Hey Folks

I filed H1B registration for a beneficiary on behalf of my company

I made a typo in Employer Id.

Is anyone aware how I can fix it ? or can it be justified at a later stage.
