  1. I submitted my tax return for the most recent year as tax transcript was not available at the time. My income for the most recent year was above the povertly line. I did not submit for previous 2 years as I was not earning during those 2 years. I also submitted W-2 form. IT seems they have accepted my documents but they still messaged me in CEAC where it stated "submit petitioner's Evidence of Income ". Not sure what else i should submit. SHould I submit my recent tax transcript ( it is available now) and perhaps my contract from my employer (where it shows my annual gross income for this year )? Any feedback would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance

  2. I recently submitted the form i-864 along with my recent tax return and w-2. I did not file taxes in the previous 2 years because i was not earning in those 2 years and i provided an explanation for that. However there is a checkbox beside item 25  stating " I was not required to file a federal income tax return as my income was below the IRS required level and I have attached evidence to support this" . I DID not check this box thinking i didnt need to as i filed tax return in the most recent year. NOw that i think about it, this could be a potential mistake. Is there anything i could do about it? what could be the potential consequences for this?

  3. I mailed my tax return pretty late (approximately 1 month back) and my tax refund has not been processed yet.  Should i submit tax return as my financial document for the spousal visa process or should I wait for my tax refund to be processed and then submit the tax transcript? Which one would be faster?  I know nvc processes tax transcripts faster than other documents.

    Thanks in advance
