We already received the email from NVC, we are waiting for info from the Embassy now.

Hello,

We recieved an information from NVC that the case has been forwarded to the Embassy on the 14th of September. The status now is "Ready - Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section."

I know, that I am waiting for the mail from the Embassy now, and I am stressed everyday that I have missed the courier because I'm not home or something. So I was wondering what is it usually is it postal office or is it a courier, will I get any notification that it is coming? I know it is a silly question, but it is stressful to wait without knowing.

I am looking for advice. my fiance (US citizen), and I are in the process of getting a K1 visa, currently waiting for NVC to send my application to the Embassy (I'm from Poland). I was wondering what is it going to be like in the US, once I move, will  I need my Home Country ID, on top of the Passport? And will my driving licence be valid? I am wondering about it because both my ID and licence are expiring next year,, and since I am going to get married, even if I make new ones now, once I get married and change my surname, I need to make new ones again anyway, - with the new name. Or should I not worry and I will be able to get around with Passport only?

Would appreciate your insight.
