My wife is applying for citizenship we will be married for 9 years this Sept. 10, she has been here since 8/25/09.  Applying under B married to U.S. citizen. Do I need to send tax returns joint . bank account statements, copy of my birth certificate, passport copy, etc..  I know to send copy of marriage certificate, 2 sides of green card etc.

I called uscis # 1-800-375-5283 and can't seem to find menu option to speak to customer service representative. How so you speak to a live person?

on the employment dates it says start date to ---------- date. if you are still working at same job do you put current date or to PRESENT?

we were in same situation we live with my parents and help pay the mortgage. we had an affidavit signed and notarized by both parents explaining the situation. i also sent some of their mortgage evidence highlighting address.

we sent our package via usps priority mail with tracking number also the cardboard boxes are free at post office

my wife went to cfo office Citigold center at 1345 Pres. Quirino ave. in August 2009. she paid 450php for sticker. Don't know if process is still the same. She brought her passport, visa packet & seminar certificate, no appt. was needed. GOOD LUCK!

Hello we are getting health insurance for my wife and paying for it on our own.The company wants her to see a doctor for medical check-up which is quite costly.The St. Lukes CD was taken at POE(Honolulu). Is there anyway to get her St. Lukes medical record so I can give it to a doctor here. Mahalo,Thank-You.

POE at honolulu was very easy,they took my wifes medical CD. Go left to immigrant desk, you can also go with her to immigrant line. GOOD LUCK!

my wife's poe also honolulu. just your visa packet and passport go left or ask worker there and go to immigrant counter, workers speak tagalog. GOOD LUCK & WELCOME TO HAWAII!

my wife took her whole visa packet to cfo they then made her get xerox copy at a shop next door

my wife brought 12 boxes TRUST birth control pills which she bought over the counter no prescription. no problems in phillipines or POE honolulu.

my wife's x-ray cd was taken by POE officer(POE Honolulu) we are on cr-1 visa so maybe different from k-1. GOOD LUCK!

You will get it at SLMEC along with your vaccination report. But I really don't know when it will be used...

You don't need it for any other Purpose! You can hang it on the wall, file it with your paper work or toss it in the trash.

My girl just told me that they just gave her a sealed CD with the Xray info on it, so no more actual Xray film coming out of Manila. Wow, I guess this is a news flash, 'cause no one else knew about it on this thread, so there you have it from me first, hehe. Maybe this is a new cutting edge procedure, and not all Embassies put the Xray on the CD yet. Today, another VJr from UK was wondering how to take her Xray film on the plane wo/ folding it or damaging it . Thanks for all the input. Cheers.

we're filing AOS this week and just getting worried since my husband has lack of hours at work (due to recession) we're planning to include his mom as co-sponsor..my mom-in-law needs to fill up I-864A right? what is the basis for the poverty level, was it last year? just a bit confused..

fill out household member I-864a if mom resides in the same house or same address as your husband if not I-864 should be used. i beleive 2009 poverty guidelines used until march 2010. go to uscis website & look at the forms online they have instructions so check which one is for your situation

What papers and how many copies should she bring?

Is PRISM or St. Mary's better?
