Had our Green Card interview yesterday in NYC.
Appointment time was 1:15pm but didn't see the officer until past 4pm.
The questions were really standard like what is your name, when did you get married, what is your spouse's name, what is your spouse' birthday, what is their occupation, etc...
Our officer had a thick accent and with the face mask, my husband had a hard time hearing him... He got the year wrong by one year when saying my birthdate...
At the end of the appointment, he printed us a 'Notice of Interview Results' letter which basically said we complete our interview but USCIS is unable to complete the case at this time...
We're a little stressed but from reading the blog it looks like that means our officer probably doesn't have the authority to approve and it'll go up to his supervisor. Did anyone else get this letter?

6/12/2022 - EAD card received! Although we applied for the AP, did not get the combo card.
6/13/2022 - Notification our interview was scheduled! Looks like NYC is finally processing the December submissions!

April 1st, 2022 - sent sponsor's papers (we needed one), plus taxes for the most recent year (which was 2021)

April 12, 2022 - received work authorization...We are in NYC it looks like the process is going pretty fast compare to how it was in previous years, but still... when is the interview!!!????

And good luck to all of you!PS I used my vocabulary to describe the case, cause its too complicated all that forms and visa numbers and I just can't remember anything 😄
For your work authorization, did you receive the combo card (EAD+AP) or just the EAD card? We're in NYC too and just got our notice that the work authorization was approved... didn't receive the card yet.

My husband was born in Indonesia but is a Korean national. His family lost his birth certificate when he was a child and the birth hospital only keeps documents for 5 years... We submitted the Basic & Family certificate (issued by Korean gov) and an Affidavit of Birth signed by his father. All of this was submitted in the original submission, but we ended up resubmitting with an explanation. Unfortunately, the government in Indonesia is not helpful and the embassy won't provide secondary evidence without the original... Anyone ever run into this situation?
Hoping they'll accept our package as is...
