In Pakistan date is first and then month on most of the documents

I printed the visa fee paper to take to bank to pay but it says expiration date 6/12/2021??? And when I read about it it says the expiration date must not be expired. But they gave me an expired date!! Is this normal?

In my case I check the embassy website and when it show ready I emailed the embassy and asked them when can I schedule appointment and their reply was you are ready to schedule appointment and they send to me pdf file that includes all steps I need to take. 

How long did they took to reply back to you?

In Pakistan they do get a polio vaccinated card. 

I need to tell my fiancé to get one. So he can go to any clinic and get the vaccine even though he is in Pakistan temporarily?

Following were the steps I had to take to set up the interview

 

 

Once the case status changed to Ready, We filled out the DS160 and submitted it

then we went to ustraveldocs, filled out all the information and paid the visa fee at ABL

Once that was done we were able to select the interview date 

Now before selecting the interview date we called the Medical center in islamabad to confirm what dates were available and based on that we selected 2 weeks later date

 

The email was sent after the visa was scheduled, (this email had the interview appointment and barcodes etc. to the email address you provided in us travel docs)

 

the medical people also sent an email to fill out medical history and all (the medical though was scheduled over the phone)

 

Medical took one week and we picked it up directly from them (2 items one a sealed report and one an envelope with the cd)

They also required us to bring copies of interview letter (the email from the embassy) passport, cnic, vaccination (covid and other) polio vaccine card and pictures and the fees as well 

 

All of this happened in the last few weeks

 

She has interview tomorrow morning

Hey I was wondering if you end up scheduling your interview without the embassy letter or did they end up sending you the email?

just an update we had originally scheduled and appointment for our interview and medical exam before our case is ready and was in transit. Typically u should wait till it’s READY, but our lawyer informed us that it was okay because the dates were far out and usually the case would be in READY status. 
 
luckily for us everything was going to date. 
thanks to this group for helping us during our worried times🙌🏻 Can’t wait for everyone to reach there loved ones in the states

my case was sent to NVC October 1, 2021. No case number assigned to it till November 5, 2021. I called and got my ISL #. How long does NVC takes to send this to embassy?

do I make my own interview appointment? If someone been through the process can you PLEASE help me and let me know I will really appreciate it.

Once it showed at nvc from there barely a week to in transit and a couple of hours to ready.

 

Have you recieved your ISL number and invoice Id from NVC?

Omggg are you k1 Pakistan too? This is so nice to know someone from that embassy too since I feel like other embassies are so much faster besides Pakistan. My case was sent to NVC in October I think because I never received anything from NVC till I called them in October that is how I got my ISL number. But as of today I have not heard anything back

Did you receive email from NVC? They should have sent you email with instructions

So I called NVC was able to get hold of them after almost 2hrs I was told the reason why they have not sent my NVC case number is because for k1 visa they don’t send welcome letter they will only email you your case number once your case is ready to be sent to the embassy. So we have to wait till it’s ready for the embassy then you get case number along with invoice id number and directions.

I am trying to get hold of NVC been on hold for 2 and half hours still no answer. I tried calling early sametbing I wonder if they ever answer their phones.

Case was approved on 8th of September, contacted them today and they say the case is still not in their system.

 

Also, managed to get in touch with the embassy they said they have no backlog either so basically as soon as NVC creates the file it can be at the embassy straight away or in a few days.

 

Now if I do not get a case number tomorrow I think I'll be stuck for the next shipment date.

 

Anyone who was approved between 7th and 12th of September have their rcvd their case numbers from NVC?

It takes up to 60days no worries don’t panic I got mine after 60days
