  1. The only language that terrorists understand is violence. Frankly, I don't understand why this story made the news. An extremist wants to kill an American... What a shock!

Indeed. IMO this only made the news because a couple of celebrity names were dropped. If he'd gone off on a tirade about the Jews it would have been business as usual. Weird how a couple of names makes the difference between zero coverage and front page headlines. Though in this case - its probably got a fair bit to do with the fluff celebrity news trade.

Your right, the link shows the story is from Yahoo! Music news, so the focus is definetely on the celebs.

What a strong warrior he is though, threatening to behead women. For fearless martyrs determined to rid the world of us infidels, they sure do run fast when that Apache creeps up out of the treelines.

And you, by the looks of your picture are the apache. If your in the battle, stay strong and kik their ###!

  2. Don't feed them. Or failing that - 'Out-troll' them ;)

Reduced to calling people he or she cant answer a troll! Time for a diaper change! heh heh.

the verbal wonder is silenced by a simple troll :dance:

Well Hematoma, why don't introduce self to us since you are 'new' here. What brings you here to VJ? Where's your timeline? Why are you only posting in OT? Hmmmm...

Funny you should ask. I was wondering the same about number 6. By the way do you know his name? oooooops might be a her.

  3. Why do these kinds of people get publicity. If anything is less deserving... I mean really...

:yes: Exactly. Attention ####### extremist, meet attention ####### celebrity. They should have a child together.

R these two suni or sheite I cant tell?

Its Sunni and Shiite. And no. The original question (in red) still stands of course.

Well how about you change your name to Brittany. You seem to love forum publicity.Your a verbal nightmare.

How's about an on-topic post from you?

For someone who bitches about personal attacks you seem to have come into this thread with the express purpose of doing exactly that  I suppose 'setting an example of model behaviour' would be asking for too much maturity...

I believe Brittany was on topic. Your typical desperate attempt at flaming is failing.

  6. Say what you will about Hills, but even the article states she has consistently maintained her national lead. Time will tell.

Leading a donkey race is'nt sayin much. The road she travels leads to defeat. I'm wondering what the hell kind of tactics she's gonna use when she loses. Lawyers and chad counting i'm sure.

  7. At least I stand by my principals. Give me a problem and I will at the very least attempt to solve it. Whereas much like keith Olbermann, all you and certain other like-minded morons in the forum do is insult and dis anyone with opposing views. The OT forum is filled with it. How many people have you guys attacked because of their views? Just the other day you guys drove CarolsMarc away and took what he said out of context.

PS did you forget the I call for his banning #######.. LMAO idiots!!

That would be where the guy busted into a 9/11 memorial thread and told a person who was at Ground Zero saw the carnage up close to "#### off".

hmmmm. I looked up the thread, I don't see where C&M told anyone to fukc off. Maybe hallusinations are in effect here.

  8. This might be interpreted as a personal attack by admin, and its duly noted that these labels are tossed around to a point where they aren't really very meaningful; but thinking about the views Boo-Yah has expressed in this and other threads - I think he's as close to being a true, bona-fide fascist as I've seen.

    Think about it...

    1) The extreme and authoritarian ideas he has: such as suggesting that entire cities be destroyed as a deterrent to terrorists. That corporal punishment should be meted out publicly (to children too - though there was some contention about that).

    2) His fondness for idealized Grand Narratives, about how much 'better' things were prior to 1960 (a utopian era before he was born and of which he has no actual experience), how children today are badly brought up and how parenting is generally poor and negligent. Oh and how the poor deserve to be in poverty.

    3) His wholesale support and unquestioning endorsement of controversial policies like National ID cards, Warrantless wiretaps and the Patriot Act.

    4) He believes that the constitution is a 'nice to have' to be repealed if the national need dictates or when its stipulations are otherwise 'inconvenient'.

    5) His continuous statements that all of the problems that affect this country are the result of alleged "Liberals".

He calls himself a Social Conservative and a Federalist. If he means half of this stuff... Well... he ain't what he thinks...

Perhaps you might try to understand another persons posts, other than to label them to fit your own interpretation. You sit on a fence that is wobbly at best. It seems the team that your on deals only with name calling. Piling on with names such as newbs, noobs or whatever. Those types of comments only show the vacancy in which you reside.

  9. It would be rather interesting to see a couple special forces teams go into Iran and use these very same tactics on them. Every time a IED is set off in Iraq, one follows on the streets of Tehran. I wonder if they would get the hint.

Yeah.... Ahmadinejad would get up on a podium, point to the smoking crater and twisted bodies and say that everything he's been telling his people is right. And with the evidence of their eyes why would they have reason to disbelieve him?

Awwww but the opposite could also occur, the common folk just might blame him.

Well when the twin towers were still smoking the US didn't turn around en-masse and lay the blame for 9/11 at the feet of GWB. People tend to notice cause and effect rather more if they've seen it with their own eyes...

But when you're looking into a smoking crater full of charred corpses that includes friends and relatives - I'd contend that you're rather likely to blame the people who exploded the bomb than your own government (even if you don't agree with them).

Then how would you explain the left wingers in american politics wanting a mass exodous from Iraq?

Hmmm... exactly what does that have to do with the point you made?

Iraq took place several years after 9/11 - opinions tend to change over time, as do emotional states. When the towers were smoking and everyone was angry, the vast majority of people in this and other countries were demanding Bin Laden's head not GWB's.

You think the same rationale wouldn't apply if the US did the same thing in Iran? Somehow I'm sceptical.

I have read some of number sixes posts. It seems this indivdual likes to spin his way out of things by name calling and spinning a web from his own interpretations. Taking things out of context, all the while changing the subject. Calling someone a facist based on anothers opinions? :help:

  12. The war on terror cannot be fought only from Iraq, neither can the mission to mold Iraq into a democracy, when foreign fighters cross into Iraq from Iran on a daily basis. Not only are Jihadis joining up to fight from Iran, but they also have brought new weaponry. Explosivley formed penetrators are the new rave when it comes to IEDs. EFPs are devastating, I have seen the destruction that they cause, and investigations believe that they are being imported directly from Iran. There are multiple supply lines of arms/personnel feeding into Iraq from neighboring countries. These facts cannot be discarded.

This is a interesting comment. It would be rather interesting to see a couple special forces teams go into Iran and use these very same tactics on them. Every time a IED is set off in Iraq, one follows on the streets of Tehran. I wonder if they would get the hint.

  13. Do you think Iraq would be going better now if we'd nuked Baghdad?

It worked in Japan. Of course thousands of people died, but it did work.

Very different situation, a nuke at the end of a world war that had drained Japan versus a nuke to.... help liberate the Iraqis?

The reason for dropping a nuke is moot. The outcome would be the same.
