    I’ll be eligible to file Form I-751 in two weeks. I currently have a 2-year conditional green card based on my marriage to a U.S. citizen. My court hearing for a legal name change is scheduled for mid-March, and my conditional green card expires in mid-May. Can I file the I-751 first and update my name later once the name change is finalized? Would I need to file Form I-90 in this case? Or is it better to wait until the name change is completed before filing the I-751?
