Again one more time i need your good suggestion to file my case again, i came here on k-3 visa like six month ago, that time my uncle gave me I-134, i start workin and now i wanna submit Adjustment of Status for G. card,.

My question is that how can i submit to AOS without Affidavit of Support I-684 becuase my uncle says that he can't give me now coz he says that he don't have much income now.

Similarly my wife just start workin as she never work before this year she is gonna file Tax. but if i submit my AOS then i have to submit it AFFidavit of Support now....... is there any way to continue my process until next year till she will be able to give me I-864?

My third question is MY I-130 case was approved when my I-129f was approved n i came in US with k-3 visa....its been about to one year my I-130 approved.

They'll just reference the approved I-130 when you adjust status. If you want to go back home and get an immigrant visa based on the approved I-130 instead, you file an I-824, pay a hefty fee and in a few months you can travel back home and have another interview for another visa.

Most people just stick around and adjust status.

I'm not sure how long the I-130 is technically good for but I've seen one example where it was reactivated after three years. My wife filed to adjust status about 15 months after her I-130 was approved, with no issues at all.

i arrived in USA with k3 visa on 10 december i was happy that after long tired wait finally i got my visa but when i arrived here...find out that things are more hard than in my country......i applied for social security in nearby office of SS but they refuse to give me SS saying that we need EAD....

could any help out regarding this matter plz tell what the papers i will submit now and where i will submit them and what is I-485?

My I-130 was approved 4-month ago which is still in process actually my wife havn't file any thing when she filed I-129F for me.

Security checks are on your husband and once they are completed they will contact him with his passport returned. I would say to go and visit him and stay but do be careful of staying out of the country for too long. I am hoping that his processing is like most around 5-6 months or shorter even. If you stay out of the country for one year they can hold up giving him his visa until you come back and establish residence once again. Just something to think about before staying away too long. One lady had this happen and it took them several months after her returning and resubmitting her passport copies, a newspaper with the current date, and new home lease before they looked at her husband's case again and then it needed security checks once again, a new medical, etc. Good luck and enjoy your visit back home to your husband.

My Husband had his k3 visa in islamabad Embassy earlier days back,

My husband interview was sucessful ............no objection.

My Husband was told by the Visa Officer Congrat you are approved but we need further adminstrative processing.

Returning passport to my husband visa officer told my husband that we will call you within month, you only need to send us ur passport via any courrier service to our embassy address and we will stamp ur visa.

now i want to know that either this is approval signal ?

would they really call my husband within month time for visa stamp?

i am confuse becuae of the some post i read here in VJ, that when they put you on the AP then u need to take long rest.

well my husband petition was approved on June-15 2007, after that NVC center send me some papers to complete + fee etc i do completed the form and submitted fee etc now they send I-864 form to completion.

3 days before my hubby had k3 visa interview, Interview goes well, visa officer ask him normal question regarding me....after taking his fingure print, the visa officer said to my husband congrat you are approved but your case is required further administrative processing and then return his passport. He further told my husband that processing time is one month. Now only you need to send us passport to our embassy address via any courier when request and we will stamp your visa.

on 26 sept i am going for k3 visa inteview in pak embassy. Rest of the required documents are complete except I-134 coz ma uncle lost his job who was going to send me I-134...as soon as he will get the job he will send me I-134....

Some one told me that don't postponed the interview date, coz there will no reschedule date till april 2008 so i don't wanna delay ma process..so i am going for inteview....

I USC, student, have baby 6month old, my uncle who was going to send i-134 to ma husband lost his job now he is looking new job. problem is that my husband is coming near still uncle did not find any job,

My uncle said to me that till another job, i can send you my bank statement and tax return and house valuation as well,

my question is that would that be enough to required for my husband k3 visa? can my uncle send the i-134 without job? let me tell you my uncle was making 74000$ a year and has 4 dependent.

I've heard and would plan on the embassy interviewer only looking at income and not assets. Not very logical on their part, but unfortunately we're playing by their rules. I'm sure you can find some way to cover the minimum income requirements on your paperwork...where there's a will, there's always a way!

I believe assets like the house are counted if you can "convert" them into liquid US funds within one year. How about selling the house? That would help.

I am US Citizen. Living with my uncle who is actually supporting me and my baby ...my husband interview date is coming up, my uncle is gonna sponsor my husband as i am student but he is earning 25000$ a year he has 3 kids and a wife. Can he still give affidavit of support to my husband.

I have one house name by me in Pakistan approximate cost 33000$ which was given by my husband on the day of marriage cermony and my husband have saving ceritificate which are equal to 15000$ and he will also bring that money with him.

Can any body tell me it is enough to support my husband or still i need to find the co sponsor?
