    Ayer en cali recibieron el paquete tres pero ya lo habia enviado por fax el jueves y ayer por servientrega.

    Les cuento que ayer fui al DAS en bogota a sacar la carta migratoria me coto $36.300 primero tuve que consignar esto en BANCAFE y escribir el codigo 106 en la consignacion al ir al DAS presente este y una fotocopia de la cedula ampliada al 100% me dijeron que estaba lista el miercoles a las 4:00 pm recuerden que esl DAS esta abierto desde las 7:30am a 4:30pm de lunes a jueves y viernes hasta las 3:00pm.

    Diana esa informacion de que ya no entregan la VISA a las 48 horas me dejo triste :unsure: . Pero gracias ya se que debo hacer algunos cambios.

    Hola a todos ayer llame la embajada y ya recibieron mi caso desde el 26 de noviembre segun las instrucciones del foro tome el atajo y hoy mande el ds-230 y demas docuentos por fax; ahora tengo una pregunta los mando por servientrega hoy mismo o espero hasta el lunes porque como vivo ahora con mi mama en Villavicencio los documentos llegarian al otro dia osea el viernes y en el paquete tres dice que solo reciben de lunes a jueves.

    Use los apellidos que usaron en las peticiones I-130 e I-129F para que todo el papeleo sea consistente. Las colombianas casadas que vivimos en EE.UU. usamos el apellido del esposo acá y el de soltera en Colombia. Sólo asegúrese de tener una copia del registro civil de matrimonio con ud. siempre que viaje por si le preguntan por qué su green card tiene diferentes apellidos a su pasaporte y cédula colombiana.

    Mira fueron llenados en la primera parte donde dice Family Name el apellido de mi esposo y en donde dice otros nombres utlizados los apellidos de mi familia el problema es que las aprobaciones vienen con mi nombre y el apellido de mi esposo y la verdad no se si es mejor que realize ese cambio.

    Hola a todos les cuento que mi esposo llamo hoy al NVC y ya recibieron nuestro caso nos dieron un nuevo numero que empieza con las siglas BGT y dicen que lo enviaran a la embajada en Bogota esta misma semana.

    Diana necesito tu colaboracion nuevamente, estoy llenando el DS 230 y tengo algunas dudas mi peticion fue aprobada con el apellido de mi esposo. Pero todos mis documentos (cedula, pasaporte, Certificado judicial,etc) tienen los apellidos que herede de mi madre y padre, esto tiene algun problema?

    Animo a todos mi caso fue aprobado el 25 de octubre y hoy 15 de nov ya lo tiene el NVC!

    Hi MAria Fernanda!!.. We are in the K3 Process we had both forms aproved at the same time... and the form that automaticly continues is the I 129F.. you have to wait untill the NVC recieve your case, and then they will give you a number case BGTXXXXXX... and this process will be send it at the Embassy in Bogota.. Hope You gett your recieve from the NVC very soon!!!

    I find this information in other chat for you can spped the procces: (remember I from Colombia (Bogota)):

    1. Next week, start calling the NVC (603) 334-0700 and listen carefully to the prompts (1 for english 2 for spanish...) there will be a prompt that allows you to speak directly to an operator between 7am and MIDNIGHT Mon-Friday...this is great because you can call when there is less traffic on the lines and get a REAL person. You will want to speak to a human and ask 1) if you case has been recieved 2)if YES, then for a CASE Number (should start BGTXXXXXXXX) 3) the date it will leave NVC to Bogota. The first few times you call they may tell you the standard "it takes 1-2 months to process", but just be polite, say thanks and call back the next day and ask the same. I called every other day for a week until I got my case number and by the next day the case had been forwarded to Bogota!!!

    2. In the mean time, begin assembling PK3 docs: DS-2001, DS-230 Part I, a copy of your beneficiary's passport (just the biographical page) and a cover letter (i'll be glad to forward all of this to you if you need it).

    3. Once your case has been forwarded to BGT, go to the "TRACK DHL PACKAGE" thread on this same forum and follow the instructions for tracking your package... The NVC will tell you they can't give you a tracking number, but PeterMiami's tip was a sure shot for us.

    4. When you confirm through DHL that your case was recieved in Bogota (ours took 2 business days), have your fiance fax the P3 docs to the embassy (see the embassy site for the fax number) and send the HARD COPY by courier - Servientrega - to the consular visa division.

    5. This should prompt the P4 - appointment letter with your interview date. The interview cut-off date is between the 16th and 20th of each months and does vary, so if your docs get in before the cut off date, you should have an interview the following month. Now, don't wait for the P4 letter or for a posting on the embassy web site, you will want to CALL the embassy on the following Wednesday and confirm reciept of your case from the NVC and of your PK3 docs and at the same time ask if the appointment date has been issued. I'm still in this phase, so I'll keep you posted on how it goes on Wednesday.

    Una vez mas Gracias Diana y por lo que veo USCIS se esta demortando 40 dias en Notificar al NVC por lko que veo es muy dificil que alcanze ha estar este año con mi esposo.

    Animo! Yo tambien senti la misma frustacion pero que se puede hacer ? solo esperar y Dar gracias todos los dias a Dios por poner personas tan maravillosas en nuestro camino.
