Mexico, Cuidad Juarez

April 2019 First interview (denied)

April 2020 Pardon approved (601) 

April 2021 Letter received to hand in updated documents and passport, Consulate kept passport

May 2021 Case status marked as Ready, pending SECOND interview.

Why would they schedule second interview?

Just last night, the case status says READY, that is it ready for an interview.

They went in April 2019 for first interview, found inadmissible, pardon approved in April 2020 (during pandemic no news) they were called in to drop off updated medical exams, police report, current passport(April 2021).  in May 2021 my mom received her visa but now my dad says he needs to go in for an interview.

Has this happened before to anyone?

My father visa status recently changed to READY, why would the schedule a second interview for him.  My mother who went together at the same time already received her visa.
