Actually, it is 4 2/3 months...
The officer asked my wife 5 questions and she got them all right and then he stopped.
It was easy and non painful.
Hope same goes for everybody.

The Journey is finally over.
The interview was at 1PM, we were out by 6:30 with the Citizenship Certificate in our hands.
The interview was easy and fast, only we had to wait for a few hours for the oath.
I wish everyone the best of luck.

Don't worry, you will be called when it is time and hopefully soon.
It is election year, they may want to move people fast to vote.
It happened to one of my friends who applied in March 04 and got it in September just before the election.
Keep your fingers crossed and best of luck.

I am posting to let people know of our time line.
VSC was unbelievably fast, even though we had to reschedule my wife finger prints from 2/28 to 04/11.
It looks like if you have a very straight forward applications, you will get your interview letter fast.
Lets keep our finger crossed and I wish everyone the best.

Just wanted to update that we received my wife's green card in the mail yesterday.
Good luck everyone

I think they will process all applications in less than 6 months when they increase the fees dramatically as they are proposing now

Kud, no worries, you are only 12 days ahead of me sending the application.
It may be just sitting on the pile of a slow officer. You will get it soon

lucyrich,
Thank you very much for your answer.
I am the later case which we got married 4 years ago overseas, then my wife entered the US on a CR1.
So basically she will only meet the 3 yers living together on the 3 years after her arrival. IF this is the requirement than I would rather wait 3 months than go through the process and get delayed or rejected because we submit it early.
I just wanted to get over with the USCIS, but hey we get another year

MY NOA is 11/22/06

Thanks for your reply, but if I understood it correctly, it said you have to be living with your US Spouse for 3 years at the time when you file your application with us!!!!!!!!

I have a question that is a bit confusing and I would appreciate any insight on this.
My wife came to the US on January 05 and she became a PR.
She is eligible to apply for USC after 3 years minus 90 days which will be end of October 07, however they say that she must be living with her US spouse for the last 3 years, which means that the 90 days early case will not apply, as she will have to apply in Jan 08. We have been married for 4 years but she only came here in jan 05.
Do we have to wait for teh full 3 years or apply 90 days prior?
Thanks

Just wanted to update everyone after the Citizenship oath.
My wife applied for her passport on 6/25.
We got the passport 07/07, but we got the naturalization certificate separately today.
It has been a pleasure these last 4 years.
I guess I'll sign out for good now.
I wish everyone a goodluck and a speedy process.
Bye
