Hello Folks, 

I need an advice.

I came to the US through K1 Visa in December 2006 We got married I adjusted the status, and got the 10 years green card, after 6months We got into an argument and she got me into trouble, I got a 3rd degree assault Domestic violence conviction, deferred sentence 2 years probation  and 36 weeks of domestic violence classes, I did everything according to the rule, I stayed away from troubles, after 10  years  of marriage she started going with another guy, we separated for 3 years and finally got final decree. 

My green card is expired and need an advice whether is a good time for me to apply for a citizenship by my self, do you think I will get deported since  my domestic violence  case is being 14 years old, is there any chances for me to get approved for citizenship?
