Hi everyone,
I submitted my DS 160 and got confirmation later dated 14-Nov-22, but the last document (Police certificate) that I submitted were on 6-Dec-22.
Current case review time: As of 3-Jan-23, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 29-Nov-22.
Which date does NVC use for the current case review time?

Ok, I think I have the answer, I am on W2 and my income is more than enough for I-864. Because of that, they will not care about the capital loss.
Thank you guys very much for helping.

Does your current earned income suffice to meet the requirements or are you also using investment income?
Yes, it is suffice to meet the requirements. I will not use my investment in the financial support form. But because the capital loss will show up on my tax return, so I afraid that they will ask about it.

What matters is your current income. If your current income is subsubstantially higher, your capital doesn't even come into play.
My current income is way higher than income requirement. But I have no saving and lost all of my money in stock. I am starting over, working 2 full-time jobs. Hopefully they don’t question my capital loss like you said. Thank you for your reply.

Where are you in the process? Is your case at the embassy and awaiting an interview or are you just now getting started?
I am waiting for NOA2 (150 days since NOA1). Pretty sure I will use this tax year for financial support document.

I will have a big capital loss this tax year (bigger than total income of 2 years ). Will it affect financial requirements for CR1 Visa?
Any advice would be appreciated greatly.
Thank you

Automatic rejection. There is very little chance it will be accepted. Even if it gets by USCIS, NVC can still send it back to them.
Thank you,
Should I submit another application? Or I have to wait for them to reject it?
NOA1: 2021-08-23
Processing Estimate: April 19, 2022

As a key requirement, yes, an RFE would be sent for the missing signed intent letter. You may be able to contact USCIS and see how to send one now to be added to your petition.
Thank you for the info,
Do you know how to contact them? I have case number in NOA1. My fiancé live in Vietnam, with the Covid situation it is very hard to send or receive anything. Can send a scanned version of the letter?

I've submitted the I-129F, and now after seeing the K1 RFE Master List, I realized that I forgot the Beneficiary's Signature on Letter of Intent to Marry (the letter only has my signature as petitioner).
Does anyone got rejected because of this recently?
Is there any chance that they will process my case without the signature?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I am a US citizen. I want to sponsor my Vietnamese girlfriend.
My situation is I can't travel to Vietnam because of the pandemic. She can't travel to other countries (she can go, but when she comes back, she will be put on a 6 months waitlist and air ticket plus quarantine cost around 6000USD). The 2 years rule for In-person Meeting will expire this June. Vaccine Passport failed. Vietnam won't open the border until they reach Herd Immunity (expected at the end of 2022).
Should I go with K1 now or wait 1.5 more years to go with CR1? is waiting 1.5 years outweigh the hassle from K1 visa?
Sorry for my bad English. Any advice would be appreciated greatly.
