  1. Don't need to file I-751 till about April 2010 but I just realized that I forgot to send in AR-11 to change our address to where my wife and I have been living for the past year. Also the I-865. (I know #######!!! Completely missed it and I wanna do it ASAP) So I gather we must send these two forms in.

We don't have the I-751 case pending yet, so I was thinking to just file AR-11 on-line ASAP and send in I-865 directly.

Has anyone ran into this mishap before? Am I missing anything if I just simply fill them out and send them in?

    Thanks...any advice or links appreciated...

  2. I'm, 216 days and counting with no touches... if you thought hell was easy or doable, wait till you get through USCIS...I don't mean to ruin it for you further but the worst is feeling that there is absolutely nothing you can do or very little you can do, but wait...So saddle up get your skype ready cuz you're going to need it. Again, I'm talking reality and don't mean to sound cynical or put down your position. I know there is hope but there is also reality. Hope we get to wish. Reality we don't. I'm sorry to say this but USCIS reality says: Welcome to hell!!!

  3. You can throw us into the mix as well. Filed I-130 with VSC September 21, Received NOA1 on Jan.4. Have a congressional inquiry going on as I am typing this. Not sure if it will do any good, but it sure as Hell cant hurt. If not I better brush up on my Spanish, looks like I might just have to move to Spain if I want to live with my wife.

Maybe I am an a**hole, but I fnd it very hard to be happy for the petitioners who filed after we did, one even 2 months after our date, and they get approved. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way or the only one who will say it. Will let you know if anything comes from the congressional inquiry.

I bet you almost everyone feels that way. I get really pissed off when I hear that things are not going in order at USCIS and filers after us get approved. Am not annoyed with the people, its not their fault, it's the system thats broken. Well according to the processing dates at Vermont we should be anytime now so fingers crossed. I will see what happens in the next month (we should hear by then) and what dates Vermont come out with for processing in April. If nothing by then I will ask my wife to get her congressman involved.

Cornishman, as I said in the other post, I have your timeline and I have seen nothing. NOTHING. No touches nothing. I don't know what to believe anymore. Stay in touch man. If they "touch" either of our cases we'll know they have awoken. Good luck.

  4. I have read that some I-130's with a NOA-1 in January 2008 have been approved. Dont get me wrong this is great for those people and gives hope to everyone else. So thats good news. But what I dont understand is how is this happening? The USCIS are supposed to sort applications in order received. The USCIS received our I-130 petition on Sept 10th 2007 and we received NOA-1 on Dec 27th 2007. So how come approvals seem out of order? We dont have ours yet. We have a lawyer doing our paperwork so all should be in order and we have no requests for further information. So does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on at the USCIS. We are at the Vermont Service Center. Plus with the I-130 dates going backwards at Vermont I really have no idea when I should be able to join my wife in the USA. Any ideas?

    Cheers

    Dave

Cornishman, I we have pretty much the same Timeline as you. Nothing happening for me either. Nothing...I can't seem to find any explanation anywhere. It's like the app fell in a big black hole and they forgot about it. I pretty much felt like I was alone VSE K3 time line with no one in my situation. Maybe one or two members with same situation lingering around visajourney that I saw were getting no where just like me. Its, as sad as it sounds, and by no means I want it to sound and be selfish, pretty comforting that there are more like me who are desperately trying to find an answer and are simply perlexed at the way VSC is running things. Anyway, keep in touch. Now there are at least two. Take care and good luck to all of us.

  5. I hate to reiterate myself because I think I'm way far from reaching that age but would it be wrong to ask what is going on with VSC. It seems like they stopped at SusieK on 8/30. Could it really be that bad!?!?!. I know Delicia will come back saying to check her blog for updates. No offense but I find it easier to follow the list in the post. So far they've been stuck on SusieK. Maybe tomorrow. I hope.

  6. I have a feeling I am not more than 3, that's right!!! 3 lingering 2007, K3 VSC applicants because it seems that the forums are full of CSC people encouraging and exchanging information with one another. CSCers you get my respect!

    VSCers where are you?

I barely find a VSC K3 for 2007, here and there.

I feel like I'm in the dark...Sent 130 on Sept 6 2007, Sent 129F Jan 2 2008. Got the NOA1 for both but nothing since then?

Any VSC on or after September 2007 out there getting K3 touches? or any touches at all? I GOT NOTHING!!! MORE THAN 6 MONTHS and all I got is NOTHING!!!...THANK YOU VSC!!!

I honestly feel like they forgot about me...

Thanks for all the hits back...

  7. NOA 1 paper I130 says received date Sept 6, 2007.

USCIS says "On December 27, 2007, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case."

What's the date they will honor and how do I know they didn't F$%k it up and placed me in the December pile instead of September where I belong.

Has anyone ran into the same situation? If so, what did uscis respect?

    Thanks, all

  8. I don't know what's up with VSC but it seems that they're stuck at SusieK and they've been like that since I remember back when I added my name to the list. So as far as I see, no approvals have been done since that date for VSC. WOW. It wans't enough we had to wait 3 months to get a receipt, 3 lousy months where they were deciding what to do and how to do it, now we're getting screwed again...oh, wait, it's the fed right...Nice VSC...

All we can do is hope for the best. Here are the last 3 people who have received the NOA2. Looking at this info, they are already processing July & first week of Aug. Aug people watch out, you might have your NOA2 in the mail by end of Jan ehehhehehe maybe if you're lucky.

Ok heres a question and I dont really want to start another thread as this seems to be my home base.

So for those of us fortunate to have received a NOA1 and whether it be from CSC or VSC (yes we know postemarked Chicago) but heres the question - Looking at USCIS timeframe, and yes bumps head against wall, promised not to do that anymore, but CSC and VSC still show diddly squat for I-130 applications being moved forward - i.e,, sitting on July 2007 for VSC and August 2007 for CSC - this has not changed for months fyi......

So now that we have a NOA1 - what timeline are we looking at- in other words if applications are being scanned, what is actually going on in Vermont and California that there has been no movement whatsoever -

Challenge anyone ???? I promised myself darn I would not even consider their website anymore, but went in to look up NOA1 number and I know its not in system yet till end of month at least, but glanced at CSC and VSC and was just thinking........what are they doing???:angry:

    Cheers

  11. Sent I129F on Jan 2nd overnight USPS. Yesterday, got NOA1 for I129F in the mail dated Notice Date January 4, 2008. So pretty much took 2 days to log it in. Of course my wife and I were SHOCKED to see VSC at work doing the right thing.

Problem is they misspelled my wife's last name. They ate a vowel. H White, can I buy a vowel for 300, please?...So I called today and talked to Cust Svs. Guy took the info down, name, address, phone, e-mail, issue and sent a Service Center to VSC to correct. Gave me a ticket number. Said give it take 45 days to apply correction. I asked if review process would be delayed he said no. Now we wait.

  12. Althought I think you're on to something let me add my two cents to your theory but I got to say I don't think our speculation comes near to what the numbers mean...the 3 letters is the location of service center the next two is the year the case is expected to be resolved. For the next 3 digits, using the julian calendar as you suggest, it is possible that it is the date by which the case is expected to be resolved and an NOA2 issued. I calculated my timeline using my receipt number and that places me in March which given the fact that I sent the I 130 in September would be pretty pretty much within the 6 month self-imposed window by the uscis.(I know probably wishful thinking). The rest 5 digits I think are established sequentially and probably represent the number of petitions that are pending an NOA2 for transfer to NVC. By the way my serial does not start with #5.

I wonder is there are any i130NOA1s from early 2007 who can go through this process and see whether the time line can be predicted based on the recepit number compared with final outcome and see if the theory works.
