  1. Listen to this nice piece of noose I got from doing my weekley call to the USE.. They now need a P 650 fee paid at the metro bank ASAP After paing that fee they need me to send a text to Delbro International showing I made the deposit.

This is the info she gave me:

Go to any Metro Bank and deposit php 650

    Account # 7-151-51420-7

Account name : Delbros International Logistics INC

Get two deposit slipps one for the bank and one to keep

after that is done you will need to send a text message in all capital letters to:

    TN # 0917-5555-313

    USE-MNL case number - first, last, middle name-(branch name)-(dat of deposit)-(time of deposit)-PHP650

Example of date 7 dec 07 day month year

She said people that already have interview dates don't need to do this and she was told to start giving this info out yesterday.

ick! it'd be another pain in the a** for those who have up coming appointment with the US Embassy

  2. ‘This is not martial law’--PNP chief

MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATE 2) The government, through Interior and Local Secretary Ronaldo Puno has imposed a curfew throughout Metro Manila, in Central Luzon (Region 3), and CALABARZON (Region 4-A).

The curfew starts 12 midnight to 5 a.m. Friday.

"We are doing this to protect the citizenry. This is not martial law,"

Philippine National Police Chief Avelino Razon told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview.

Razon said the curfew would hopefully be implemented for just a day.

In a news briefing in Malacañang, Puno appealed to the public to "bear with the inconvenience" brought about by the declaration of the curfew.

He said the curfew was issued "to allow law enforcement agencies to continue their follow-up operation."

Philippine National Police Chief Avelino Razon has been directed to issue the guidelines on the curfew, Puno added.

"We would encourage everyone to cooperate with the rules and guidelines relative to this curfew," he said.

Puno said regions 3 and 4-A were included in the curfew because there were some areas here that were part of the greater Manila area.

"Police authorities want to ensure that Manila is safe and sound," he said.

Asked if there was a possibility of extending the curfew, Puno said this could be the case "if the follow up operations that would ensue will not achieve their objectives," but added that this would be reviewed on a day-to-day basis.

Puno said public transportation would not be allowed to ply in the period of curfew.

He added that those that would be in the streets during the period of curfew would be the subject of "serious scrutiny" in checkpoints that would be set-up in the three regions affected.

Puno said those that would be subjected to checkpoints should be able to present valid identification cards and should not be carrying weapons.

  5. Finally got some good news on my visa! I went back to USEM again yesterday, flew in from cebu just after 2 days from my second finger scanning to borrow my passport so i could be sure that i could travel to HK by next week. before it was released by window 14, the guy told me that he has good news! my case was already with the consul and after some verifications (overstaying before which would have happened if i stayed 1 more day in the US!), my visa is ready to be printed! yeahhhh!!!! he asked me if i still want to borrow my passport, asked the consul if he'll allow and finally they gave it to me. i'll just have to mail it back ASAP so they could release my visa.

finally, i can almost rejoice! i left the embassy with tears! God is always good and i'm blessed! i can't wait to meet my fiancé in HK next week!! :D

i hope the rest waiting for the release of their visas will get it this week or next! let's all have faith!

congrats,girl...u deserve to have that visa and to be with your loved one soon...goodluck! :star:

I want to set a date for my fiance's flight itinerary and book it but want the option to change the flight in the event the Interview is schedule after February (cheaper for me to book a flight in Feb or March) Thanks in advance.

  11. Hi guys!

I'm a little worried here coz my visa is not released from the embassy to DELBROS. It's already been a week.. :( I'll try to call USEM tomorrow and ask if anything is wrong. I hope not but I was told I'm approved and only a few questions were asked by the pre-screener and consul. The other ladies who had the same date as mine already had updates from DELBROS.
