Did they say you were approved? Did they take your I-94 and EAD?
yehhhh they took my I 94, i have the receipt on my email that they receive the copy of the tax return
Didn't you already send your tax return with your I 864? why did you need to send it again?

Thanks a lot for the advice, I guess we're not in a big hurry. We'll be going back to visit anyway, so we might as well just visit during the interview. We'll have been married for 2 years by that time and it indeed sounds easier. We haven't paid those NVC fees yet, but I'll get on that....
Thanks again.

My spouse has entered the US with a K-3 visa and we are wondering if we must pursue the Adjustment of Status application (I-485) or wait for the I-130 to come around and pursue it back in Turkey.
The I-485 seems to ask for a medical form and is unclear what that entails...
Anybody else with similar questions or experiences?
thanks

Wow, that was a fast response -thanks a lot.
If we're out even for as long as a year, do you think it will make a difference?
thanks again

After entering the US with a CR-1 visa and leaving the US without the green card in hand, is it possible to enter the US again without significant red tape? Does the situation change even with a green card in hand? we both found good jobs in Turkey and might want to keep them....
I've heard horror stories of people who had to start the process all over again. Anybody have any experience with this?
thanks

tax documents for AOS interview
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

We submitted our AOS application in July 2008. Included was the I-864 with all the tax documents. Do we need to bring new tax documents from 2009 also?
If so, I don't know if I need to file as I've worked abroad since then and have paid taxes in Turkey...
any ideas?
