  1. so WoM is sort of 50/50, is it possible the court could be like, this is taking too long and checks should take this long and approve it?
  2. what are chances of WoM being successful? if the consulate doesnt have enough processing done they can just say that and deny it correct? or how does it work
  3. hello all, parents had there i-130 interview, they are from a MENA country, my mom got approved and visa issued rather quickly at that time, but my father has been in AP for almost 3 years now, no updates from the consulate and it seems if we email them there is no clear response. Writ of Mandamus time or keep waiting? Doesnt make sense as they both had there interview jointly.
  4. doesnt the child protective thing prevent that though? from ageing out
  5. Hello all, i was reading the bulletin and just a bit confused, for a PR, how long would it take for a visa to be available if the child is unmarried and under 21?
  6. whats the chance of them denying and saying they have not completed AP?
  7. hello, my father case has been in AP since his interview in Dec 2022. My mom received her Visa shortly after her interview as they applied family visa and even had there interview together as I am a USA citizen. Father is from Afghanistan. Why is this taking so long is there anything i can do? 2 years is a bit much!
  8. ok so coincidentiallty enough, i logged into the ceac iv for my fathers case number and his IV application/DS form said Re Opened. I dont know if it is like that cause he has to update information since its been two years or to take this as a good sign that AP is almost finished?
  9. but what course of action should I take with father as he is AP since two years
  10. my mother is here with me already but my father visa issuance is still admin processing. It’s been almost two years now
  11. Hello all I applied for my mom and dad they are from a MENa country, my mom had her interview in 2022 and shortly after got her visa anbd has visited multiple times now to me here in the USA since. My dad was requested for a second interview and has then been in AP for 2 years now, no documents or anything were requested, I have reached out to the embassy and it is the normal response of background check and they will let us know. I had Senator office also inquire to no avail. what should we do? If we sue is that a good path to pursue?
