I think they try to send you NOA notice , but perhaps your address is incorrect, USPS can not deliver to you then back to USCIS, you should follow their instructions to resend to you, I think it will be ok

I think it means that they couldn't deliver your receipt notice for whatever reason. So they sent it back to USCIS. Follow the instructions in the notification to request it be resent. Ensure that your address is accurate especially if you live in an apartment or gated community.
