    thank you guys! after this day it's game level over... i have overcome obstacles this immigration game has given me and tonight is the time to claim my princess... well its not quite over yet, i am looking forward living with my asawa... VJ'ers has given weapons and ammos to get this level done and I can't thank you guys more...

    all i can say is sit tight and relax... as i recall the last time i went back to PI it was regular season (no peak season) I flew in april of 07 and came back the next month... most airlines have promo during that time... i even got a great deal... i would say dont make any travel arrangement until visa is recieved... If you do plan to reserve one before visa is recived buy an open ticket (you can fly anytime you want) w/c is can be convinient but will cost you money... for one way plane ticket peak or non peak season the differnce is about $50-$$150... If you wait to purchase until visa is recieved i suggest to fly during weekdays it is better deal than flying during weekends and holidays... I recommend to fly with our flag carrier. Good luck!

    For most people medical will take 2 days to complete. SLEC serves costumers on first come first serve basis no mater what day she takes her medical. The earlier she check in on the first day of medical it is more possible that she will be out of SLEC by 2pm. They will then give her appointment slip to come back for her second day of medical. If she gets the 9am appointment she'll be released by 130 pm. By saying that i would say it is possible that she can catch the 4pm plane. But to be safe i would suggest to fly her back to cebu the day after she gets approved/released from SLEC. This will give her time to get some rest and take advantage to see the embassy for the interview. It is always good to plan ahead of time. Good luck!

    After all this waiting game my wife is finally flying to come join me and enjoy what the land of free is to offer and to live the american dream. To all still in the game hang in there your time will come, keep yourself occupied and time will fly by! ;)

    I would say it is better for you to buy a one way ticket. For k1 holder some agency will give you discounted rates. It is better to buy tickets flying out during weekdays to save couple hundred dollars for pocket money. My wife got qoutes from PAL flying out on a weekend for $1100 versus a weekday rate of $750. For those flying out of the country i would suggest to use our flag carrier. Thank you!
