I wonder who we pissed off in Rio. We had not yet received a tracking number a week after going ISSUED on CEAC so I sent them an e-mail last night inquiring whether or not the visa had been sent. They sent my fiancee an e-mail this morning with no words - just what appears to be a tracking number (but no link). It looks like a number for Correios, but of course nothing shows up yet when I put it into their tracking site.

It took five weeks from the interview to get anything and you can expect about two weeks from the date of issue to get an email with tracking numbers

  2. After a very long road two years now, we are finally married November 20, Las Vegas......

    I have completed the I-485 I-864 I-131 I-765 and I-693

Here's my dilemma and confusion, we have completed the Medical exam and Vaccinations in Brazil, along with the Biometrics

    Is this all required again?

I don't want to file unnecessary forms, nor do we want the hassle of another medical exam.

We have the Xrays and vaccine records from the DR in Rio......

I would love to hear from someone who has been through the process within the last six months, as so much has changed including the forms.

my fiance's interview is February 8th. The doctor only has an appointment for the medical exam in January it's more than four days out is this a problem?

Make sure the Doctors office knows when your interview is scheduled and his office will help you.

My (fiancé) wife had her interview the day after the medical exam and I was extremely worried that there would not be time to get the results to the embassy for the interview

But the Doctors office assured us that there was nothing to be worried about and he was correct.

Keep in mind if your fiancé has not had a covid-19 vaccine, they will not be scheduled for an interview.

Also if the fiancé is missing any vaccines required in the US, all those shots have to be completed before the interview.

Our interview was a litlle over 3 weeks ago, K1 and K2. The status said "refused" for 3 weeks, then changed to "application received". I hope that they (K1 and K2) will be issued this week. It seams like the k1's without K2 issue fairly fast and the ones with K2 are a bit slower. Maybe they are a little slower do to the children involved. . I do know some that waited for 2 months for the visa to be issued. Good Luck!

Our Visa has finally been issued and now we await its delivery...... 5 weeks after the interview

  5. Processing Times

We was approved at the embassy in Rio a month ago and have been in processing for 3 full weeks, K-1 and K-2

The K-2 has been issued but the K-1 is in purgatory, does anyone have any idea how long we might have to wait?

There has been no issues and no additional information has been requested.

What kind of recent experiences have others had with delivery of the Visa......

  6. We went through the process a few weeks ago in Rio

#1 Your fiancé must be vaccinated for covid-19 or you cannot complete the interview.

#2 The Doctor will determine what shots she or he needs and you can complete them in the clinic in the same building and return to the DR with the shot record

My fiancé needed 4 and her daughter needed 2 and it cost me about $150.00

#3 Make sure you have competed the DS -160, paid the fees and keep all receipts for the embassy.

    Our process went like this,

Monday was the Fingerprints and Chest X-rays (Must be completed in advance of seeing the Doctor)

    Tuesday =Free Day in Rio

Wednesdays =Free Day in Rio (We did organize all our documents)

Thursday= Doctors Exam, He required the shots and we got them done, returned to his office and completed the exam.

Friday= Embassy Interview, I hired a driver from our hotel, as my fiancé and her daughter could not have a phone or anything not related to the interview.

We had all the required documents and copies for the embassy.

She arrived early, waited about 1 hour, was ask to proved documents, she was seated another hour or two, was finally called and asked for proof of our relationship

She provided pictures, travel documents etc.

The interviewer was very nice according to my Fiancé and said Congratulations, you are approved.

We are now waiting for the embassy to return her documents so she can fly to the US, so far it has been 3 weeks.

    K-1 Administrative Processing

    K-2 Issued
