Working for a university I guess I understand (but do not agree with) the prioritizing of student visas, thankfully there is a time limit on that and students will need to be on campus by the end of next month so hopefully, that won't impact us too much and we will all receive our IL soon. Fingers crossed 🙂

My husband was DQ'd on Thursday, July 14th and it looks like the London Embassy has slowed down a bit, earlier this spring there were moving quickly. Perhaps it's summer vacation time in the UK, hopefully it will pick up soon.

I am in a similar situation. Our documents were accepted today but I received a case FE note asking for my marriage termination document which my already lawyer submitted along with all my other documents back in the beginning of February. She is on vacation and will have to resubmit the document on Monday with a note stating that document was included in the original submission of documents. I spoke with the principal of the law firm and she said this has been happening a lot lately and the Biden admission hired 500 officers to review cases but they have not been trained properly and she is seeing a lot of mistakes with the NVC. She also said although she does not know how long it will take to review the document after submission it does not reset the clock.
How long did it take for your case FE review document to be reviewed before document qualified?

Thank you! We submitted our NVC documents mid-February and expecting to be DQ's in mid-may, once we are DQ'd we'll make the medical appointment. Thank you for your help!

Are you saying to reserve your spot for medical as soon as you are DQ'd and not wait for the interview letter? OR are you saying to reserve your spot for the medical when you are still in the NVC process? I'm confused any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, our I-130 just got approved over Christmas and we are currently working on our NVC documents and expect to have those completed by the end of this week. My question is timing. The I-130 took 10 months to get approved and I've been told by our lawyer to expect 4 months for the NVC to get our "documents qualified", and the interview portion depends on the embassy itself (and not the USCIS timelines). Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get an interview scheduled at the London Embassy? I am a USC and the interview is for my husband (CR1). Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

How long after did you receive interview date after NVC approved docs? (merged)

We are waiting on an interview. We were DQ'd on July 14th and waiting for the IL for the London Embassy.
