  1. Hello,

Me and my fiance are having a little trouble with clarity of a few questions on the form: Does anyone know what to put or what you put on yours? Thanks so much for your help in advance.

    • Question 41: I was born in the USA so checked the box on question 40a. However, when it asks 'Have you obtained a Certificate of Naturalizaton or a Certificate of Citizenship in your own name?' does this apply to a US citizen born in the USA? I don't have anything apart from my birth certificate and passport as proof of ID - do i click Yes or no??? Its quite unclear with this. Or do I just leave this blank?

    • Questions 38a - 38h: My fiance last entered in the USA in January 2020 and left in June 2020 due to COVID, and hasn't been allowed to visit since.
It states 'If your beneficiary is currently in the US, complete Item Numbers 38.a. - 38.h." She has her most recent I-94 and her I-94 Arrival-Departure Record - do we need to fill in these questions, even though she is NOT currently in the US?

Thank you all once again! Much love!

  2. Hello, don't know if anyone on here has had a similar situation. Basically, I am a British and my fiance is American living in Florida. We recently got engaged and are now looking into the K1 Fiance Visa process. I am living back in the U.K. now, but I was a student on a F-1 Visa for 7 years (from August 2013 to June 2020) so I was out there a lot, i worked for a year on an OPT so I have a social security number etc. However, I moved back to the UK in June of 2020 and we are now ready to get married. In terms of providing evidence - should I include evidence that shows I was a student in the USA etc? We met in college in 2017 and even worked together for a year while I was on OPT - shall I submit evidence from this?

Also, I have a social security number but I don't know if its still active since my student visa expired and I am no longer living in the US. On Part 3, Item 3 on Form I-129F, it asks to state a social security number (if any) of the beneficiary, should I put my SS number in here even if I don't know whether its valid anymore?

Also, how much evidence shall we be looking to provide? Does anyone have any examples of what they submitted? THANS FOR ALL YOUR HELP :)!!!!
