Hello everyone,
I received an interview letter for my I-751 (removing conditions on permanent residency). The instructions that are attached is asking for documents for adjustment of status including a medical exam (unless submitted previously). I'm confused because I thought medical exams are not required for I-751. Is this just a general document they send to everyone applying for I-485 and I-751? I was approved for my adjustment of status/permanent residency in 2016.
Also, my husband lost his job during covid and is getting unemployment, should I provide an I-894 sponsor letter? I'm still working and making enough to satisfy the salary requirements.
The letter doesn't state this but this will probably be a combo interview for my citizenship N-400. For anyone who has had a combo interview I-751 and N-400 can you please provide a list of documents you brought with you?
Thanks for all your help!
N-400 marriage based to non-marriage based application

Hello,
I applied for citizenship (N-400) based on marriage when I had my green card for three years. It looks like I will be getting a divorce before my interview is scheduled. Can I change my application from marriage based to non-marriage based when I go to the interview or do I have to wait until I have five years with my green card to apply again?
Thanks!
