Card arrived today. w00t!
-
Congrats! I was also just approved the other day after an RFE!
-
Thanks guys. I seem to remember the same thing happening with my conditional card - it read card production ordered and then approval sent and then I received the card like 5 days later. Man, I can't wait to check the mail every day!!!
-
ok, got the letter yesterday on the 24th. Today, the 25th, I got an online update saying an approval was sent out TODAY. Uhh. Weird or what?

Got the letter yesterday saying that my green card is on the way. It's offical - I'm an LPR!
-
Thanks guys.
Oh, and we went through VSC
-
I don't think we sent any in at first, and we had lacked evidence such as joint mortgages because when we opened the account they didn't want my name on it because i was 'conditional' etc - they were scared to commit to me because in their eyes my status wasn't secure.
Then we got RFE'ed.
We got about six or seven affadavits from friends - even one from my home country who had visited. One came from a US Navy officer and was notarized. The rest were just statements. We asked them to write it in their own words but to include the information that USCIS request. We also sent in a couple of other things - car insurance statement, one electricity statement with both our names on (that I had called up and explained the situation to the elec company and got them to assist)
I just found out yesterday that 'card production' had been ordered... so, I think it pays to include some. IMO.

Well, I got the NOA and my GC is extended for 1 year. I've also got my biometrics appointment in a couple of weeks. So far so good.
I think I'll do as suggested. Send it with a copy of the NOA I received.

Thanks guys, I forgot to include a copy of my green card with my application, oops, oh well, we'll see what happens!
-
Wait for an RFE, if they need the copy they will ask for it.
Part of me wants to vomit but part of me says that they have all of our information in their database so a photocopy of a card isn't that big of a deal. I could send it in now but I don't want to get our wires crossed, so I guess I'll just wait and see. Oh well, everything else has been pretty smooth - jumping through hoops but pretty smooth none the less.

Yup, there's always one. Just realized today that I neglected to send a copy of my conditional permanent residency card. I filed June 15th and the check has been cashed.
Suggestions?

I'm an old member, haven't been around here really because I've been free from immigration paperwork for a couple of years. I just filed to get the conditions lifted (vermont service center), hoping it goes quickly because I really want to move and don't want to change addresses in the middle of it all. I see they're processing applications from 6 months ago, which doesn't bode well. Ah well, we can hope!
Any Idea what month VSC is processing?
