Hi Everyone!
Just as I started getting panic attack because I don't have the evidence of selective service registration.
But then I realized their website says "all male U.S. citizens, and male aliens living in the U.S".
So this means I, as a woman don't need to present the evidence of selective service, correct?
Silly question but I just wanted to double check.

Here are the documents requested in the interview letter.
- The interview letter
- Green card
- Any evidence of selective service registration
- Passport
- As the spouse of USC, marriage certificate
- Proof of death or divorce
- Spouse's birth certificate

Normally do they send you a list of documents to bring for the interview?
Yeah, there were a few documents listed on the interview letter.
But I was just wondering because some posts suggested to bring all documents which were already submitted and additional pictures and bank statement...etc.
I think I will bring my documents just in case.

Hi All. Can anyone share your N400 interview experience at the Federal building in NYC?
I have my interview scheduled in a few weeks.
After reading some past posts, I was surprised to find many people were asked for the documents at the interview. (Bank statements, Tax, Pictures...etc )
I certainly would like to know whether it's necessary to bring all documents. And If so, what documents should I bring with me?

Hey Lhiz21, Thanks again for your reply.
I called the military hotline yesterday and they confirmed that the 319b applies only when you go abroad with your spouse.
Oh well, I just need to make sure I have all the necessary documents and signature before my husband leaves.

lizaw21, Did you file as the Expedited naturalization?
This website states that I can file as soon as the US spouse receive his order
and the 3 years requirement doesn't apply when you file as the Expedited naturalization under 319b.
I'm confused about whether the expedited naturalization applies only to those who goes oversea with the spouse.
I'm going to call the military help line on Monday to find out.

I've been doing my research on the expedited naturalization under 319(b)
and I like to get some help with the questions I have.
My husband will be deploying in the next spring around the same time I'm eligible for the naturalization.
I like to know if I can start the process before he deploys. I would love him to be with me at the Oath ceremony.
(1) When can I start the expedited naturalization process?
(2) Is it possible to have the interview done in Fairfax, VA? If so, how can I request to have it done in VA?
(3) Do I mail the application to Nebraska?

I'm sure it's just coincidence but the day after I made an Infopass appt,
I received an email from USCIS for card production order.
It took longer than I anticipated but finally it's over.

I'm little puzzled about making an infopass appt.
When I go online to make an appt, after selecting an office, I pick "You need Service on a case that has already been filed",
then on the following page, there are 4 options.
1. Order from Immigration Court
2. Case Processing Appointment
3. EAD inquiry appointment
4. Case Services follow-up appointment
I would pick #4 but I don't have "Service Request ID Number".
Can someone please guide me through this?

I called 1-800 number and spoke to an agent today. There was no waiting time and the agent was very helpful.
But then I realized that the agent have the same information I see on the online status.
If I make infopass appt, can I get more information regards to my application process?

Hi All.
It's been 130 days since I received NOA. My online status is last updated a day after bio appt.
Most of the December filers are already approved.
I know that I'm still within 6 mon. frame but is it a good time to contact USCIS?
I heard some stories that some people didn't know they had the interview appt or the REF pending due to the postal error.
Also, USCIS sent out the document to several different offices that they are just sitting on the application until the applicants call to investigate.
Does anyone call USCIS or make infopass before 6 mon period and be able to get more info on your case?
I appreciate with any info.

MR_S_P, I'm sorry if I'm being rude by asking you this, but could you share your ideas of why it took little longer?
My process is taking longer than other December filers and I'm desperate for any answers.
I think my documents were pretty solid and not sure why it is taking so long.

Imen, Thank you for sharing. My AOS and EAD touched on 04/18.
Considering everybody else being approved from the December filers, I don't mind going to an interview at this point.
I would even welcome unannounced visit from USIS. So that they can see how happy we are together without a doubt.
