  1. Hello everybody,

  2. I recall hearing on the radio on the way to work this morning that he did say, and I'm paraphrasing by the way, "that wearing a pin of the American flag does not make you American it's what you do for your country is what makes you American."

I think that it was a nice and inexpensive way to draw to attention himself and get additional spotlight.

  3. Here in chicago it's 80. unbelieveable..It's nice though because it's fall season.

but i prefer it to be nice and warm than cold. Becasue when it get's cold it's gets cold up here and there is no escaping it.

but yeah just here waiting for NOA2.

  4. I think it is safe to say that we should go by what USCIS write on the NOA1. If the NOA1 says CASE RECIEVED AND PENDING ON JUNE ##, 2007 then that what we should go by, correct? Or am I wrong?

I'm basing my dates on that, because I sent my 129-F May 23, 2007 to NSC, they received on the May 25th, and USCIS says that CASE WITH CSC AND RECIEVED AND PENDING ON JUNE 8.

So since June 8th we have been waiting…

  6. I paid a lot of attention to Claire's toe and the fingernail grew back without any polish, it'd be horrible if they'd made that mistake.

It seems Peter hasn't lost any of his acquired powers, and can't wait to see him getting his memory back.

I wonder exactly what's the mexican girl's power, which obviously can only be contained by the brother.

I think her power is released any time she cries. Seems to be some sort of highly contagious disease.

One thing I'm happy about is that Peter no longer has that emo hair, thank God!

Did it grow back with polish..It seem like it did?

Maya is from Houndras in Central America. It was intresting that my friends wife caught on to this In latin american there is a na urban legend called 'La Llorona' or "The weeping lady" Here is a link to some info on that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Llorona

There is obviously some variations, but that was ingenius to inculde that in the script. Great writing.

Yeah about Petes hair. It took me back to the New Wave/Skater age. Good times, good times.

  7. Buenas tardes a todos, quisiera saber si en este post puedo preguntar en español (mi inglés no es tan fluído) y si puedo preguntar por un problema que tengo con mi visa de turista B1-B2.

  9. Mike,

Let me first congratulate you on completing and successfully obtaining a visa for your spouse and being able to be in the AOS stage.

You know that it is not easy going through this process in the first place. There are many things that go through your mind during this process and any support is always nice, a conversation of such, something like what you had with Peter Miami and Drea or others.

It's not that I was not trying to display a level of incompetence to the process by not reading this thread; I think that all post here is helpful one way or another. When going through this process. I have read the thread and it seems that all is helpful in one way or another. I am fairly new at this ‘forum and thread thing’ and even more so in this whole immigration process.

Maybe your concerns about the irrelevant post can be sent to a moderator or I could give you a name of someone that can help his name is Yordak. I think he is very helpful.

But thank you for you input. And continue success on your AOS process and future processing’s.

    Rafael

You will probably not like this answer, but I believe in tough love. The answers to your questions are well-documented on this thread. Believe me, you will benefit much more by reading through the thread and finding the answers to these questions....you'll also probably read answers to questions you never even thought about. Often times on this thread, we (including me) are a little too quick to provide the easy answer to someone.....because we want to be helpful, or we want to give back, or, for some, we want to show everyone just how much we know....but the reality is that we are not really being helpful in the long run. My only regret is that this thread has gotten entirely too big....because there are too many irrelevant posts or posts that would have been better handled through PM (like all individual shout-outs). I wish we could go back and delete irrelevant or inaccurate posts.

    Mike

  14. [

    Rafael,

I specifically called Dr. Gonzalez' office. One of her assistants picked up my call. After asking me what type of visa my wife was requesting and her age, she mentioned the three vaccines which must be taken: TD, MMR, Varicela and she clearly stated vaccines needed to be recent, less than 8 days before the interview.

I then mentioned I was a bit concerned about reinforcements, which I know should be taken for certain vaccines like TD (I didn't mention my other bigger concern about my wife feeling sick or tired during her interview). She literally said reinforcements didn't matter. All that matters is that vaccines must be recent.

So, with that and with Diana's information from previous posts, I have accepted there is nothing I can do about vaccines. But I've been reading this forum from the beginning and I realized there is sooooo much I can do before my NOA2 gets approved: from geting tax transcripts to finding baptism certificates to geting that photo album all organized and ready. So I suggest you do what I'll do: worry about everything else... except the vaccines (for now)

    Juan Carlos.

    Juan Carlos,

Thanks for the info. Yeah, after reading Diana account while in Bogota I felt the same way, we can do all of this and not worry about it at the last minute. But this what it is. So we have to go through with it.Thanks for the info. Hopefully they change that policy in the future.
