I just wanted to share the good news, we received an e-mail today saying Current Status: Card production ordered!!!

We are very happy!!!!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOU HELP AND SUPPORT DURING THIS VERY STRESSFULL PROCESS!

Current Status: Card production ordered.

Looks like we've ended another chapter of our journey!!!!

Thanks to all for all of your help and support. I would also like to say that if I had to do it all again...I wouldn't even hesitate

I bought the ticket on my married name (legal name) because i dont want to have any problems on my way back, my EAD, AP and DL are on my married name. For the DAS I guess my passport, colombian cedula and marriage certificate will do.. Thank you very much!!!

I'm planning on going to Colombia for a week or so, and I'm not sure if I should use my married name on the airline ticket. My AP, EAD are in my married name but my passport is in maiden name. somebody know???

ok...I have a question for you guys. Andres' Dr. Gonzales appointment is on 5/19, which is a Monday. When should we go to the lab to get the labwork done. The Dr office told us we could go latest that very same day to the lab and that they would get the labwork before our 12:45 appointment. I kinda dont trust the receptionist due to other miss information which I will touch on later. Just to be on the safe side should he go to the lab the Friday before? So it will have time to get to the Dr?

Another thing...Andres is worried that vaccines given days before wont count for the medical. I'ved tried to tell him it will be ok but when he spoke to the receptionist at the Dr's office she stated that any vaccines given before no mater how many days before wont be valid. (this even made me worry) I just need reasurance that if Andres gets them done at the red cross the Tuesday before his medical they will be valid.

Hi Diana, I would get done the lab on friday, just to be safe. About the vaccines, i got all shots on Dec 27, almost 3 weeks before my doctors app. and had no problems with dr Gonzalez. Do not worried about that, you will be fine

Hello!! I'm a march filer too... we just received on the mail a notice saying that our case has been trasferred to CSC, but when I check the status on line(USCIS website) it doesn't say that, it says the same as the NOA (we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case). Is this normal, should I be worried?? Not sure if this transferred thing is good or not...

Hello Colombia Club! We received on the mail a notice of action saying our case has been transferred to California Service center, I'm not sure if this is good news, i have read somewhere that it means we dont have to go to an interview, but I'm not sure. Anybody?? should I worry?? Thanks!

HELLO EVERYONE IN COLOMBIA CLUB.

I WANT TO POST THIS AND I HOPE THERE IS ANYBODY HERE WHO CAN HELP ME, I AM WORRIED

MY INTERVIEW IS TOMORROW AND TODAY I WENT TO PICK UP THE RESULTS OF MY MEDICAL, YESTERDAY THE DOCTOR MARIA GONZALEZ TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING WAS OK.

TODAY THEY GAVE ME A CLOSED ENVELOPE FOR THE EMBASSY AND A VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION WORKSHEET ATTACHED TO MY VACCINATION RECORDS, AND THE CHEST RESULTTEST.

MY CONCERN IS THAT ON THE INFORMATION FOR VACCINATION SHE WROTE ON THE RESULTS:

IT WAS MARKED VACCINE HISTORY INCOMPLETES

APPLICANTS MAY BE ELEGIBLE FOR BLANKET WAIVER(S) BECAUSE VACCINATION(S) NOT MEDICALLY APPROPIATE (AS) INDICATED ABOVE.

THEN I SAW ON THE INFORMATION FOR THE TD IT SAYS INSUFFICIENT TIME INTERVAL AND FOR THE VARICELLA SAYS THE SAME THING.

I HAD ALL MY VACCINATIONS DONE 8 DAYS BEFORE THE MEDICAL APPOINTMENT AS THEY RECOMMEND ME WHEN I CALL FOR THE APPOINTMENT.

I HAD THE TD, MMR,AND VARICELLA.

CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN THIS TO ME PLEASE?

HAS ANYBODY RECEIVED THE SAME RESULTS AND BEEN APPROVED?

SHOULD I BE WORRIED?

Don't worry about it, mine was the same, I called Dra Gonzalez office and asked the same thing they explained that is because you need a second shoot after a month. I'm looking at my vaccination documentation worsheet and it says the same as yours. My visa was approved and I'm already in the US...

HOLA!!

I'm home in PA!! I arrived to NYC/JFK on Sunday at 5 am, POE was easy I was out with my luggage by 5:30 waiting for my fiance. They didn't ask any question and I got EAD stamp! I'm very happy to be here!

Are you in Pleasant Hill/Concord CA Area? I took ESL Classes for free around there before I enrolled in College. Not sure where you guys are, you talked about San Francisco/Oakland. They gave me books, classes where in the morning time, I took reading/writing and conversation. It was pretty good and fun. If you guys are interested I can look up and give you more info.
