First of all, congratulations.
Relax, I also had the interview in Charleston few weeks ago, and the officer gave me a certain day, middle of the week, when it would be updated, after the case was approved towards the end of the interview. It did update post lunch on the day I was told, and then the system kept updating very frequently and card was delivered to me in one week from the interview date. So may be a small delay due to the system/manual delay, but as the officer said approved, you are not going to see any other result. Try to breathe and start working on whatever your next plans are - getting ready for work, or travel plans etc.
I started my paperwork in April last year. USCIS is doing a good job, in managing cases. They are humans too.
Thanks so much for replying. Yea I was just expecting to hear something yesterday since that’s the day he said.

Then why did you post "Should I be worried?"
I guess poor choice of words. I’m just frustrated he says it’s approved and have heard nothing still. It’s been a long year

Stop worrying
It’s not worrying. It’s we have waited a year and her not be able to do anything then they can’t even click a button when in 3 days?

Interview was completed in Charleston on Wednesday and everything went well. About 30 minutes of the typical questions discussed on here. At the end of the interview the officer said that he was approving our case and she would have the card in a couple weeks. He then also said he didn’t do computer updates until on Friday's. Well it’s now Saturday and no approved status yet. Should i be worried? Is it normal to say approved and wait days to click a button saying so?

This all makes no sense to me. So what’s the deal with the 90 day rule? It says to wait 90 days to file for AOS to prove no bad intent.

Google Matter of Cavazos and Matter of Battista. USCIS can not deny the adjustment of status of an Immediate Relative of a USC for immigrant intent unless they have proof that the person lied to enter the US.
But she wasn’t my spouse when she arrived

If you are a US citizen, then this is not a problem. Answer honestly if asked.
Why is it not a problem? Will they not care she had a ticket to leave 3 weeks later and didn’t? Thanks so much for replying

My wife came last year in February to visit here in SC. At the time we were not married and she was supposed to leave 3 weeks later. She did not leave and we decided to get married later and filed AOS. For the interview how hard is it to prove there was no intent to commit fraud and for those who have adjusted with tourist visa what kinds of questions were you asked? Is it ok to just say we decided she would stay?? Thank you for responding

Sent my package and arrived in Carol Stream on 11/23. I was stupid and put signature required. USPS says delivered to PO Box but I’m not sure anyone picked it up. Should I resend???
It’s not real clear on USPS if you get a confirmation it was picked up or just that it was delivered to PO Box. I’m thinking of giving a few days because of holidays and resending. Anyone else require signature?? Was that as dumb as I’m thinking it was??
