Totally normal for long AP after an interview in Morocco even before the covid crisis to do additional security checks
and if he asks for his passport so he can travel, it will only extend the AP time to check the places he traveled to
At this point you are waiting for the embassy to say "do a new medical exam" then, and only then will you know they intend to approve your petition and issue a visa
He never travel to any other Country, he haven't ask for his passport and he got 2 medical exams already......does he going to have another medical exam ??

What does your CEAC status say? As others have already mentioned, Casablanca is known for extended periods of AP and long visa processes.
Refused but has been like that since the first interview, in March was the second interview and they told him everything was ok. In August he received the call again asking for the second time the medical exam, police and court report., he asked if he needs more papers and the lady to him that he was completed and that he had to wait to receive the phone call in order to go and get the passport and package.

I am not up to date on current processing times but does not sound out of the ordinary.
Maybe get your Congressperson to enquire?
I was checking here about people who had the appointment in December in they got the passport and package already.

Still subject to AP and if you look around here AP Morrocco does not tend to be short.
Why ??

AP is conducted after the interview, well the most common type and the type that is probably relevant here. Can take some time and with Covid even longer.
Yes I know but remember that the IR/1-CR/1 are immediate relative.

Sounds like he is in AP.
Shouldn't be if everything was accepted and they request the fingerprints and passport.

I would like to know if someone can help me. My husband had his interview on March 9, 2020 and the officers told him that it would be the last interview, later on August 11, 2020 he had to be at the consulate for fingerprinting and surrender his passport, for the second time the medical examination, police and court record and DS-260, until today's date we have not had news. I check in ceac website and it has been updated in Sep. 17, Nov. 2, Dec. 16 and until today February 4 we have not received any calls from the consulate so that you can pick up your passport and your resident package. What can I do or who do I have to turn to, I need some advice.
My Husband haven't receive his passport neither his package

Yes I am sure about the 2nd medical exam because he gave it to them in person on the same day they took his fingerprints.
