I am new to all of this immigration stuff myself, so I don't have any answers in that respect....sorry. I did want to say that I am sorry that you have a little sick one and my prayers go out to you and your family, that you will be able to come to the States and she will get well very very soon! As a nurse in this country and having visited Victoria Hospital in Winipeg, waiting for six hours for care (albeit very good and very nice nurses), I would have to disagree with boiler (whoever you may be) in that, you may have to pay alot more here but being together and getting the top rate care, you belong here in the States, I just hope your immigration journey is quick! I AM AT WORK AND JUST RECEIVED ONE OF THE WORST PHONE CALLS I HAVE EVER HAD, AFTER THREE YEARS OF GOING AT THIS...THE WAIVER HAS BEEN DENIED, AND IN THE SAME ENVELOPE WAS A REQUEST FOR $585 FOR ANOTHER APPEAL. I CAN HARDLY TYPE OR TALK ABOUT THIS....WE ARE JUST DEVASTATED...I REALLY NEED YOU TO RALLY AROUND ALLAN, HIS VOICE WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL.....LOVE AND HUGGZZ, GEORGIE XXxxXX

P.S. WHY DID THEY PUT OUR WAIVER ON "COMPLETED" WHEN IT WASN'T APPROVED, THAT IS JUST EMOTIONALLY DAMAGING. I AM REALLY BEGINNING TO HATE BEING A US CITIZEN!

Thank you for replying, it sure helps to know that we need to wait for a week or more for the "letter" and that we are not the only ones jumping from pending to completed and that is okay to do that. I can breathe a sigh of relief! Everyone has been so kind and wonderful! I am so happy for you that you are enjoying your move here. I just hope Allan doesn't miss his fish and chips too much! LOL! I can tell you that I was stuck in this in London for an extra 3 weeks because of christmas time last year. They where not working hard the last 2 weeks in december. Actually somebody told me that this department was closed down the last 2 weeks.

I can imagine that there is something with vaccation time in july and the reason for not many workers.

Hope for better speed in august for you

Thanks for your reply ,can someone get me a job in that embassy,sounds like they holiday more than they work. I just wanna come home to my wife and kids,here is hoping that something happens soon

I really understand your pain since I have been in the same waiting situation and it's so frustrating.

Are you on the list pending or under review? And for how many weeks have you been on the list?

Hi ya, this is Skyesunset's Scottish Wifey from North Dakota! Today we have good news ( I think?) I will never be sure until I wake up next to him! LOL! I looked today at the I-601 site and it says we are "completed" and in blue. We skipped over the "under review" stage which is rather scary as maybe they didn't approve it. Has this happened to anyone? He hasn't received a letter yet, do we ring them? The said it was completed today on August 10th, so do they send out a letter afterwards? I truly appreciate all the support you have given my Darling husband....if we would have known about this site earlier, like 2 years ago, we certainly would have taken an active part! Hope after we are all settled, we can show some support to others! Thanks so much! Georgie
