I'm a citizen and am looking to bringing a parent to US. However they've overstayed 10+years and left. Can I still petition and start the process?

No. Not required to do so before voting.
Yes. Once offices reopen you should go in to update SSA records.
I definitely will when offices reopen.

I became a citizen end of October 2020 in Massachusetts. I haven’t updated my SSN yet...I’m waiting for offices to reopen. I read some conflicting posts that I had to update ssn/dmv before registering to vote? I was able to register to vote after I became a citizen. Was I supposed to update SSN before registering to vote? I’m a little confused, I registered to vote online and sent a copy of my ID and Naturalization certificate to my town hall. Also, anyone else not update SSN yet? I’m assuming I can still perform normal citizen activities? I appreciate the response.

I haven't updated either. Since becoming a citizen I registered to vote, and will be filling taxes soon. I can't imagine sending in the certificate through mail and hoping it returns. From what I've been reading on here, a lot of people have not updated yet and there's no rush. I spoke with a SS agent a while ago and they said some people don't even update after many years and still do normal life stuff. I am hoping the SS offices do open back up to the public soon though.

I just want to make sure, once naturalized you don't have to update your address with Uscis anymore correct?
SAVE check question

Hi guys just trying to understand how the SAVE check system works. When i check a case using my document number and it states "case returned to agency" with a check mark, does that mean DHS verified me with the document info I used?
