Yes, it is. It sucks, but at least it is a bit of info on what month/year they are currently scheduling appointments for the IR1/CR1 category who have already become documentarily qualified.

This is good news, however still so many cases at NVC still waiting for an interview appointment. I wonder how many of those cases that are DQ at NVC are for Nigeria?

Ok, congratulations!! That sure was a long wait. I hope the consulate gets their butts in gear and get the ball rolling on these interviews.

Can I ask how you received this information that the Consulate is processing interviews for DQ cases from October 2021?

I have emailed the Consulate in Lagos yet again asking when there will be open interview slots for an IR1 visa. I have yet to receive a response. The US Consulate Lagos should be providing us with some type of update every 2-3 months. I also spoke with an attorney who says it MIGHT be possible to sue the US Government, however certain steps have to be followed before that process can start. Ladies/Gentleman...contact your congressman and demand answers.
