  1. can't believe my NOA1 says 240 days..it's the longest term out of all people from july. i want so bad to go to my home country for christmas! :(

Ha, don't get upset, my notice says that my documents were transfered to National Benefits Center (originally sent to Texas) and I have to wait for 730 days!!!

  2. Well...we got the appt letter today! The appt is Nov 1st at 9am. Anyone else get one?? Hope so!

    Congrats!!!

I had my fingerprints done yesterday. I expected to see a lot of people and spend a couple hours waiting. We arrived at 11 am and were throught by 11:30. It seemed to be a lazy day at the office, at least for that part where you have your bios taken... I was kind of surprised...

  3. I am not sure who I'd call. Does the national customer service even handle inquiries to biometrics appts? It seems it'd be a local thing.

Yako-if you read this, have you gotten an appt yet?

Had the same problem, you can read it here - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...c=82318&hl=

I filed my forms in the end of June and got a bio day for October 10. I thought before they just forgot to schedule biometrics for me but reading you guys I think it's a Tampa problem- that office might be really very busy... especially after INS got an avalanche of papers in July...

  4. Well, I found an envelope in my mail today, it was from INS:

    Dear....

On 08/21/07 you... contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us was ... bla bla bla...

And then - the status of this service request is:

    WAC........

No slots available at your local ASC. You will be rescheduled as soon as a slot becames availlable.

While I was trying to understand what this was I found out another envelope from them. And la-la-laaa - it was MY BIO LETTER, bio appt. on 10/10/07 :dance::dance:

What is funny I just called the castomer service 2 hours ago and as always they told me they don't know anything and I need to wait 90 days and then might get an infopass...

  5. At Gus Bilirakis' local office, you can call Sonja Stefanadis (727) 773-2871 Ext 11.

Well, we called her today and were told we belong to another county, sorry  .Then we called Senator Nelson's office...generally we were told they cannot do anything for us because INS can do whatever they want. The only option they can offer is to came there to fill some request form in and and they will send it to INS. And as they mentioned this actually will not help us or make any difference :(

  6. That friend of your also having the bios done at the Tampa office? Asking because we are dealing with Tampa and it took quite awhile for our bio appt to arrive. In fact, we filed almost two weeks before you did and just received the bio appointment letter yesterday for an August 30 appointment. If my theory is correct, your letter should be coming up within the next 10 days or so.

Nope, he lives on the east coast. Let's hope you you are right and I will get my bio letter soon.

Ven2lin, that's frustrating :( . And what did they tell you?
