Hello Everyone ... I got the NO2 approvals for 130 and 129f in mail on Friday 28th thank god... the notice date is sep 24 ... i will keep you all posted as we walk thru this process...NVC and embassy ... etc

So apparently the wait is getting longer, if anything. At this rate the people who filed in September who will go to CSC will get their visas in September 2008! That's just amazing. The whole point of the K3 for married people was to expedite the process in order to reunite families of American citizens. Also, there are many of us who paid quite a bit of money to file the I-129. We paid for a service we are not receiving. Is that even legal?

For an American citizen it is not a privilege to be with his family, it's a right.

I wonder if they're doing anything at all to try to fix the huge lag. Do they not care? Do they not have the resources?

Someone really needs to go to D.C. and raise some hell.

Hello All ...

I got an email from USCIS today ... My 129f case status has changed to "This case is now pending at the office it was sent" ... I know its not as exciting as receiving NO2 but its very comforting that they found my 129f ... I had not heard anythign from VSC at all and was thinking they never received my file from NVC in July ... and my update date for 130 changed from june to today! Its probably because they found my 129f but still ... I m glad to be on track ... Finally the website status has changed!!! Thank god !!!

I will keep you all posted ... Valticp ... i know v have same dates ... hope u will hear something soon too ...

Thanks for this chart G & A ... its really good to see some green lines ... However I have not received NOA2 yet for I130 ... i was hoping it to be around Sep 1 acc to the chart and my calculations ... What number can I call to find out about it ... I called 1 800 375 5283 ... but never got a cust. representative ... its always a message tape...

Also the website status for 1130 and 129f is not changing at all ... I received a mail notice of case transfer in end of July but the website case status has not changed at all ... It only says 129f application was received on July 6th ... Who can I call about this?

I am really getting worried now as sep 1st has passed and my case status on website has not changed at all ... no touch or update

This is a great thread. I have one question about K3 visa. I received a 129f transfer notice via mail on July 25th. It stats that my 129f has been transferred to VSC on July 24th but the online uscis account shows case last updated July 9th only. Also the web site status shows notification of receipt notice on July 6th.

Shouldnt the online/case status be updated to transfer notice or something?

I-130:

05/25/07: Mailed I-130 application to VSC

05/29/07: Delivered @ VSC

06/13/07: Received NOA1 by mail (Notice Date was 06/11/07)

I-129F:

06/30/07: Mailed I-129f to Chicago Service Center

07/02/07: Delivered @ MSC

07/11/07: Received NOA1 by mail (Notice Date was 07/06/07)

07/26/07: Received case transfer to VSC notice by mail (notice date was 07/24/07)

08/06/07: Website and online Case status only shows NOA1 receipt notification status - case status has not been updated on the website or on the online email notification account.
