  1. Hi,

I and my wife have our oath ceremony scheduled in Seattle in a few weeks, and were wondering if we would be allowed to take our two kids (3 years + 8 years) with us. The appointment letter seems to indicate that we cannot take them, but it's a bit difficult to find someone to look after the 3 year old. Appreciate if someone can share their recent experience in case they have seen kids during the Oath Ceremony.

    Thanks!

  2. Ours just got scheduled for the second week of June as well (early Jan filing date).

But it looks like my wife and I have different interview times on the same day - hers is at 8 a.m. and mine is at noon. I was expecting us to be scheduled at the same time, so was wondering if this is something I should call them to get rescheduled to the same time.

  3. Hi everyone,

I'm currently waiting for my interview to be scheduled, and it looks like it might happen sometime towards the end of May. We are planning on making a 2-month international trip to our country of birth starting around the time of the interview, and I was wondering if it would be ok to travel after the interview. We would like to not go through the oath ceremony as it would mean that we will have to wait for our US passport, then renunciate our current passport and get a visa (we can't hold dual citizenship).

So would it be possible to delay the oath ceremony for a couple of months after we complete our interview?
