I'm trying to find out if anyone who got the paper approval in March 2012 from Atlanta USCIS and awaiting Judicial Oath Ceremony (name change) has been scheduled?

IMO, you may need to declare the value of the item to get insurance which you should definitely do that, in case something happens
again, this is just my opinion.

Hi everyone,
updates: Had to contact USCIS couple of times since the card never was ordered though the case was approved on Feb 6th 09. after persistent trying and the 30 day mark was able to get an expediated request for card and received it on March 16th.
so atleast got the card for now. wifey already has made her first trip.

online is useless in my case, it still shows case in process and no updates since 1/22. i was also under the same impression but later got the good news of case being approved by postal mail. thank goodness they didn't go green and say everything via email.

Can you track online? I cannot...well it says that if u don't get the card in 30 days to contact the tele-bots. but unfortunately its still a waiting game.i have a feeling the card is nowhere near printing. I guess might have to again walk into the USCIS office to find out more.

does anyone have any experience with a walk-in request for I-551 stamp at the Local Atlanta office? my spouse has an approved Greencard petition but has to travel to her native country due to some legal/business matters pertaining to property.
I don't know the status of the greencard itself and doubt if it's been ordered for Printing just yet. The blessed souls might do something when we get there. Unfortunately the Infopass system has no appointments for Atlanta for a few weeks now, just draws a blank.

Hey guys how are you? I had my AOS interview on Feb 3 2009 in Cleveland, OH, and since then, I have not heard any info about my decision, is this normal and has anyone experienced this before? All I was told at the end of the interview was "If we need anything from you, we will notify you by mail. I was not given a verbal approval or anything, nor was my EAD card taken away from me. I have no clue what to think and I am frustrated like hell not knowing the decision?
Any thoughts or opinions on this matter?
Give it ten more days and make an infopass appointment to get an update.
Thank you my friend for the advice and I am highly thinking about doing an infopass appointment.
I would say go ahead and schedule an infopass, it takes time to get an appointment. you can always cancel it if you do get an outcome earlier

Hello Folks,
my spouse received the much anticipated welcome letter over the past weekend. It mentions about 3 weeks for receipt of the actual card.
Can anyone share their experience as to if you receive an email/notice informing that card production has been ordered?
Timelines from receipt of the welcome letter to the actual receipt of the Green Card.

Can anyone please tell me if they have received their green card after the interview WITHOUT ever getting an online update or approval notice online from the USCIS website?
We were verbally approved last week and told to look for the geencard in the mail in about 10 days, but our online case status has never changed....still "pending". I just hope my wifes GC shows up in the mail any day now.....
our case is slight bit different, were given verbal approval pending submission of additional medicals. We did it last week but didn't see any updates either.
i was researching a bit over the weekend, there have been instances where it takes somewhere between 10-25 days before people have seen actual Card
hope it all works out in the end and hopefully sooner.

Husband and I were given an RFE during the AOS interview for I-693a since at the time of the interview, my shots weren't complete yet. So after we sent the RFE, same as you, i was very anxious, checking my case practically everyday for any updates or any confirmation that they received my packet. Unfortunately, there was none. So imagine my joy, 3 weeks after sending the packet, i received an email from USCIS that contained the magic words: GREEN CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED
Don't sweat about it too much..

does anyone have any experience with the issuance of a RFE associated with I-693 or any other medical related issue?
Do you know how long it takes after the submission of the associated material back to the local office to actual approval and issuance of the GC?
It's been a week since we submitted our medicals back to the local AOS office but no updates on the USCIS Site or anywhere. Kinda crazy to sit without any updates esp. since they even took away the I-94 during the process.
Does anyone know if a person can travel without I-94 ?

During the interview, it was noticed that the TB skin test was not done, so the adjudicator asked us to get it done but remarked while taking away the I-94 that everything looks is set for approval pending the resubmission of the TB test.
We were given a hand delivered notice for the medicals, using which we got it done in the next 72hours(minimum time) and submitted them back to the local office via USPS express mail.
my question to the group is has anyone been through this scenario and usually what's the turnaround time for this scenario. would it be worthwhile to follow-up with a USCIS infopass request to make sure everything is in order and check status of submission.
Appreciate the groups feedback.

Could take up to 4 months to recieve your green card, after an approval notice, some recieve it in less then a month, others receive it anywhere between 2-4 months.

Folks,
I applied for my spouse's adjustment of status. I applied way back on Aug 28th but got NOAs dated Sept 12th 2008.
I have been tracking the Sept chain but noticed only K1 getting transfered to CSC.
is there some different process for K3 applicants? Can someone kindly share their experience ?
are EADs usually as per processing time or delayed for K3 applicants?

i would start the senator route and get the senator's aide to query on your behalf. Usually each senator has constituent services and i would recommend your citizen husband to start the conversation on your behalf.
You would get the same information vs. the headache of driving up and down for the infopass. I honestly found infopass 50% times useless and clueless.
