Don't worry- they will get it. Something similar happened to me and was stressing over it but then it showed received. I guess that's the way they work

My card just arrived in the mail and I wanted to share the great news!!

It took exactly one week after the approval to get it! I feel wonderful!Good luck to everybody who is still waiting! You've all been very helpful and a great support system through all of this!

I did receive an approval notice which is not the same as the card. I don't have the actual card yet, but a day after the e-mail "Approval notice sent", I got a letter "Congratulations!....Your petition has been approved" (something of the sort). So the card and the notice are two different things. But since you already got the card, I agree with the others- don't worry about the notice, you probably would never need it!

Hi! I don't think you have anything to worry about- I have gone out of the country twice on my conditional card and have encountered no problems coming back! It shouldn't matter where he's from as long as he has been approved and granted a green card!

You have to wait for the biometrics letter - the number on it is the one that works with the online status feature.

What about getting an Infopass appointment and asking them for a stamp? I am not sure but I think you can do that after they cash your check. So hopefully they'll cash it soon and you can try

We sent mine to CSC on 08/15, received either on the 17th (according to the return receipt from the mail) or the 20th (according to the online status update of USPS

Hi, wishforhumility! I am sorry to hear about your situation. I am not as familiar with what you need to do as other members here but I think Jane (sian2) has given you good advice. If your divorce is finalized now, you can file for removal of conditions as soon as you gather the paperwork. Also, I agree that you do not need to move in order to ask your friends for affidavits. Just call them and explain to them what you need (there are wonderful examples of affidavits on this forum) and they can mail it to you (ask them to include how they knew both of you, how often they used to see you, etc.). As far as pictures are concerned, we sent some from different locations- some from a ski resort, some from the beach, some from home, etc. Include pictures with yours or her relatives if you have any. What we did was write on the back of the picture itself who is in it and where it was taken- I don't know if it right - we have still to find out! About the change of address- I don't think you will be deported for being late. Don't worry about that - other members, please correct me if I am wrong. I don't think you have to prove to them that you are working- that has nothing to do with the removal of conditions. However, if you have paychecks at the same address your wife received mail when you were together, send photocopies of those. That would help establish that you lived together.
I hope you find your way out of this complicated situation! I wish you all the luck and don't worry about being deported! As Jane said, before any action is taken against you will receive a NOA that extends your stay for 1 year, then you may be asked for more evidence (if what you send is not enough), and even if they reject your application you have the right to appeal (right??).

When I checked the USPS website this morning it said that the item was delivered to INS EXPRESS MAIL at 6.34am and was signed for. It seems like the third time is the charm

Thanks, Desert fox and Chanchan! I am getting worried because they did try to deliver it a second time and it failed again. So it says they won't try again but wait 5 days and return it to me. Hopefully, they will try a third time on Monday ?!? Thanks again!

I think YuAndDan is right- there is no rule for getting the biometrics-it depends on the local office and when they can fit you into the biometrics schedule. I am sure you'll get it very soon!
