Now just to wait for the Oath Ceremony Letter!!!!! So happy!

The interview was easy...Who is the Pres of WWI, Who wrote the Constitution, What ocean is on the East Coast, One responsibility of citizenship? When is Independence Day, What is Abe Lincoln famous for? What is our national anthem, 2 national holidays, Who is our President? What is our economic system. Then had to read 10 sentences and write 4 sentences. Not a big deal. She took all the old expired green cards and work authorization cards and said my oath letter would be in the mail within the next 30 days.

Shouldnt I have least been touched yesterday since I did my biometrics on Friday afternoon?

I just want to be sure everything is in order. I know you have been wiating 2 weeks; plus from what I have seen of the Baltimore timeframes, I dont expect to have my interview this month, maybe earlier August will be my date. If you don't agree with the oath, you should not have filed to become a citizen.

No, the back of the checks didn't have an application number either...guess I have to wait for the NOA.

I didn't even know that form existed!! When we started all this back in 2004 it didn't and must be new since we removed conditions in 2007. Ooops!!

I have sat back quietly, but I can't anymore.

Those of you that think they understand the tax plan of Obama cannot possibly understand it because he has yet to explain the details of it. He has not explained if the 250K on businesses and individuals is net or gross. If it is of all receipts, than over 99% of businesses will receive a tax increase. That would be hugely detrimental to our already fragile economy. To top that off, he has stated that he would hold off on his tax plans if the economy was in trouble....ummmm...if his tax plan is bad under a struggling economy why would we ever want it...even if it was looking a little better...a bad economic plan is a bad economic plan. He himself admits it would make things worse. No one knows what he is really proposing because he will not say! That is what is so terrifying about this gentleman...he plays to the heart strings of many trying to get the vote, not to do what is best for the United States.

I had a quick question. I finally got on my husbands insurance (Kaiser) and my husband just lost his job cause they are going under. We're looking to get Cobra insurance to keep the insurance current until my husband can get a new job. Am I able to stay with the doctor at the Kaiser clinic, or do I have to go somewhere else?

I just went for my 1st prenatal visit today and had an ultrasound done. I'm 13 weeks along and I really like the people at the Kaiser clinic. It would be a shame to have to go somewhere else, but it's something I'm prepared for just in case.

Any help would be greately appreciated.

It is my understanding that if a company goes bankrupt and no longer exists, there is no COBRA. If it is reorganization, then yes, COBRA would be available and it would be the same plan that you are on now. If the company is gone, you need to get some coverage from the state, because other insurance companies probably wouldn't take you on with your "preexisting condition.:

My guess would be that your I-751 is already with your naturalization papers, and that you will be processed for the latter, not the former.

Hello everyone! Great News..... Ben Carlton A was born on 4/30/2008 at 10;56am weighing 8lbs 11 oz and was 21 long inches, and boy did i know that was comming. We had a Very Fast but complicated delivery! My Husband is the best, couldnt have done it with out him. The Baby is doing Great!! I will post pics and more a little latter, i'm a little under the weather right now!

Didn't they report back or are they still waiting?

Sending a letter to the CSC office with our latest IRS tax returns, dog registration, and color photographs of our family and dog sure helped us. It not only let somebody at CSC know we paid a bundle of taxes, but we are real people that love animals, not just names on a sheet of paper.

All I got from our congressman is what can cause global warming, and to borrow a word from our teenage daughter, Ombudsman sucks.

I am still waiting! We haven't heard anything yet.
