  1. I know how I felt with the flying. I had a homesick day yesterday but on the whole things are good. AOS paperwork nearly complete, just waiting on joint sponsor getting forms to me. Should be ready to mail in about a week. I'm feelong weirdly zen about everything just now.

Weirdly ZEN?! Is this the Debz we know and love?!?!?!? :o

Maybe there is hope for me yet

good luck...the second part doesn't seem to be as painful as the k1....

    Hi everyone!

Just a quick pop in. Scott is here. We have been insanely busy. I'm not exactly sure why I chose to move him down, get married, and file for his green card all in the same week! So we are running around taking care of tons of details, but it's good.

I also posted this thread last night, if any of you have any thoughts, I would love to hear them:

Aly, very excited for you today too!

Marta, I really hope you hear something on your AOS stuff. I believe you'll be fine to travel in 2 months, but it must be stressful when the average on VJ is around 60 days and you are quite over that. I hope that doesn't happen to us, as Scott is supposed to be best man in a wedding in early October. I really hope you hear something soon.

Okay, off to take care of a million more things...

    congrats

  2. i see our april filer are finally getting a lot moving and actions...that's good to see...so i got 2 cris emails for EAd card productions on 6/16 and 6/19...anybody know what that means....

I got two emails also. One was notice that the card was ordered and the other was that the I-797 was sent. Two very different things. So it is normal.

we got two emails also, just figured uscis was confused

  3. Parul-in which training camp is he? hopefully he'll come back soon

VIka-sorry to hear that, might be something easily fixed

My husband has to appear for his aos interview july 1--we figured we'd get an interview since our case wasn't transferred but we were planning to move few days before and it's a bigger pain to change the interview date. Has anyone recently had their interview?

  4. Congrats!

Is it unusual for cases not to be transferred to csc yet? OUrs still hasn't been transferred....r we the only ones out there

No its not unusual... All cases do not get transfered to CSC. Don't worry about the case not being transfered

    I agree.

thanks...my husband got his ead approved so he can start working hopefully in july, but the email said it takes 30 days to receive the hard copy..

congrats to everyone else who got approved!!!

  5. HI,

The same thing happened to my husband today. He went for the driver's test in New Jersey and they wouldn't accept I 94 since it was expiring in June. THey told him they will accept after he adjusts. They didn't mention EAD as one of the documents to obtain a license. One of the guys at the DMV said that he needs international license. However, my husband was told in England that they don't issue International licenses and the UK should be good enough for EU nations and US. Was anyone told something similar?

  6. Please advise!!!!

My wife's AOS is still pending,

she's on K3 which expires in mid October

She wanna go to Pakistan this month and come bak in mid August

Will there be a problem on re-entry, just because her visa will expire soon?

Does she need to have advance parole to get back?

    Thanks.

    AA

YEs, she will need Advanced parole to re-enter. Did u apply for that when u applied for AOS/EAD? That also takes upto 3 mos. We are still waiting for my husband's ap so we can travel.

  7. Just checked the mail and found all 3 NOA's !

    Whooo! Congratulations.

Yeah, good feeling :) and the real waiting starts now. So looking forward to get work permit and start working. B)

Congratulations!!! Now I'm getting more eager to go out and check the mailbox for my 3rd NOA (AOS)!!

By the Way, I'm one of July filer for K1! Hope to see more July filers here!

    Right here!!

    Good luck everyone

  8. We went last week to get my husband's social security in trenton, nj...she only looked at his passport and I 94. We did however, take a printout from VJ regarding k1--allowing one to work provided u have the necessary work documents. He got his ssn in the mail within one week.
