My family and I used to live in South Korea, It was 6 years ago and never come back . I have a police certificate before I left the country ( 6 years ago ). If police certificate only valid for 1 year, should I go to South Korea and ask new police certificate.

I have same a situation - on February, 21st at me was interview and the consul has told to me, that I should give one more document... It concerns to my previous conviction... Only after I shall give the necessary document, they can open to me the visa... I have ordered this document in Israel through the lawyer and he has told to me, that it will borrow about a month - if, in general, in that court still have not thrown out my case, in this court the strong disorder with archives, and already there have passed almost 7 years... And if the lawyer will receive this document it should be sent to me, then to make translation, then to carry in consulate, and then to wait at least for 10 workdays while they will consider it... So before the middle of April I shall not receive the visa, it is exact...

I am not nervous, I hope for the God...

Don't worry, everything WILL be fine. If you have all necessary documents and prooves it'll go fast. The embassadors in Kiev are very sweet and funny I was nervous on my interview, he made me relax while joking with me

Also for information, yesterday Jacob sent ds230 package AND a letter where he is asking for asap interwiew. Major purpose his vacation scheduled half year ago (and he can't reschedule them )from 03. 25-03.29 and that he really want spend them WITH his wife.

We shall see the outcome.

It is interview for me, my wife already for a long time in the USA...

I have simply told, that at me already all documents are ready and that has already bothered us to live separately, and has asked them to understand it and to help us...

To me NVC has appointed interview to March, 19th, but I, after short correspondence on email with a consulate of the USA in Kiev and two calls to the call-center, have transferred date of interview a month earlier, next Thursday on February, 21st... Thank God! Who wants, can try to make also... good luck!!!

It is one page if I remember right.

Fill it out again, print it off, DON'T sign it.

Then, you get there and they need it .. you have it.

If they don't need it, no problem, you shred it after you get your visa.

We sent I-864. Then called NVC - the automatic system said - We found info missing or incomplete in financial papers.. and sent a checklist....

We thought that that checklist is RFE regarding Hubby's I-864. But the checklist just requested my DS-230. did this happen to any of you? and is it normal?

it's normally... we had the same... we have received the same letter before have sent the DS-230 packet...

I called my favorite automated woman today and surprisingly she informed me that our case is complete as of November 23rd,

i know that they advise one to write case # in the top right corner of the documents one sends to NVC. Should I write my case # on DS-230 too??? Or just my personal documents?

i haven't written my case # on DS-230... let's look, what from this will leave?!

grrrr. . . NVC says they still haven't received my choice of agent OR the AOS bill (which we overnighted last week) I really thought this would go a lot faster, I was hoping to be done at NVC by new years. Now I just hope that my husband receives the IV bill before he comes to visit me for xmas

Normally when you send a message to them you do get some sort of reply, before they actually reply to your question/submission, this is the one I received:

Do you have a 'junk mail' folder for your email that it might have been directed to?

If you are going to resend again, I would recommend you add their address, NVCINQUIRY@state.gov - to your email address book as that is the address they reply from and it should ensure it doesn't get flagged as junk mail.

I want to ask how long does it take for my mom to receive the actual DS 3032.

I'm petitioning my mom through I-130. I have used the Jame's shortcut and email the DS 3032 to NVC. Now that I have already submitted my AOS, and waiting for my DS 230, my mom still haven't receive her DS 3032. She lives in China. I wonder if i made mistakes on her address in the I-130 form. If so, who should I contact to find out? I think my case got into NVC for more than a month already.

If you have sent email(DS-3032) to NVC - don't worry! NVC will start to work with this form and you can forget about this letter...
