    Hi Pat, 

     

    I had my interview on January 2021 for IR1 visa and submitted DS-5535 early February. (Montreal embassy). They kept my passport in interview but now after 6 month still no update.

    My case is 'last update date' has changed many times but the status is still refused! 

     

    I saw you had the same process and finally received your visa. So if you can share your experience that could be great.

    I want to predict the processing time and the approximate remaining wait time for my case. Some others told me to file Writ of mandamus but I am not if I should do it or not.

     

    Please share your ideas based on your experience.
