We filed the I-485, I-131 and I-765 in early February of this year. They did biometrics in early August, and also again last week. My wife's cases all have been getting status updated, but my stepchild has no updates at all other than "USCIS received your case". My wife got updates for fingerprints taken, got approval for work/travel, and even received the cards almost a month ago. She really wants to go see her family, but obviously she wants to take her son with her.
Even on the second biometrics appointment - which happened after my wife already had her work authorization and advance parole - the case number on the USCIS website showed that fingerprints were taken the next day. My stepson did not get an update!
Has anyone seen this? One case is moving along fine but the stepchild's is not? My lawyer has basically said "It's coming" and nothing else.
