  1. My parents are coming from India on visitor visa. I am looking to buy health coverage or travel insurance. However there are many but they don’t provide which facilities/hospital/provider will cover them. Do anyone have any sort of experience or know about this or any travel insurance recommendations

    thanks

Everyone goes through administrative processing.  AP also includes the finalization of your file to be sent back stateside and preparation of the passport package to be delivered to

  3. I had interview on 3rd May and Montreal consulate took my passport and told me that my case is under Administration Processing. They sent me email DS5535 I sent them back with all information. Now my Ceac status changed Refused to Issued but under it says my case is under administration processing which might take several weeks when process is done you’ll receive email regarding collecting passport.

My question is why they changed Refused to Issued because I researched Issue means when they print visa.

    Hi all

I came back home for vacation and to renew my H1B visa stamp.

I am halfway through a medicine specialty fellowship and have been in the USA for 4 years (last visa stamp was 4 years ago and was smooth).

They told me to come back a few days later to get my visa but then they call me 3 hours later to say that I need to fill a DS-5535 document and see the CO for a quick interview.

Interview was smooth. Mainly asked where I work and what I do. Nothing special.

Now I am stuck in administrative processing (221G - DS5535) and I have no idea when I am going back. I have patients waiting in clinic. I have training to complete.
Any physicians facing the same issue out here? Do we get any sort of priority? CO said he will do his best to "work on it as fast as possible" but I fear the bottleneck is in DC.

    This is an unfair process...

    Anyone in the same situation?

    Thanks

This must be really hard for you ..!! I had interview done on 3may for IR1 visa category but i had travelled to states before but never have any issues. Still they put me under AP and haven’t heard from them back i check ceac status it still say refused but date was updated.I can’t work because they have my passport. I had conversation through this page with people for some it was 2 weeks for one 2 months and she haven’t heard back from either. So, depressing dont know what they do how long it takes.

My husband interviewed in London. There was an item they wanted to look further into and they did email us with what they needed. The email came to us in about 24 hours so keep checking your email if that is what they said they would do. My husband's issue was resolved with in a month but as others said no one knows how long each person's case will be. Good luck!

Thanks for reply i got email yesterday and they are asking abt my travel history as I have usa visa and stayed there for max like 3 months.Did they asked you same ?

  6. YEAH THEY TOOK my passport. and give me form on which they have ticked by pen that  ADDITIONAL PROCESSING IS REQUIRED. WE WILL CONTACT YOU WHEN THIS IS COMPLETE . and she verified my email stating that adminstration process is required under your case so we will send you questions on your email as soon as I  answer them then they'll proceed further.

If you did not live or visit the country since the date of the PCC, that PCC is acceptable even if it's expired.  You do have to provide an explanation along with the expired PCC.

Thanks for reply !! I have already submitted everything and DQ . I am waiting for interview and it's almost there. So, explanation you mean verbally while interview ? can you explain bit further ? thnx
