  1. Based on my experience, The CO nor prescreener didnt ask for affidavit of support but CO did ask me what is my fiance's (now my hubby) work and my educational background. I offered him that affidavit of support but he refused and i was told to keep it for my AOS, i got my visa 4 days after my interview, though sometimes they say that we are approved there are instances that we might get our visa in 2 weeks or so coz of what they call "further review"...dont worry sistah im sure u will have your visa soon just try to keep in touch with the embassy. Goodluck!

    Hey yah!

Your post is very interesting.. Its very strange that they dont ask your affidavit of support, which they usually do.

Im not quite sure also if you're on AR,

when the w37 told you about the affidavit of support and saying that they gonna review your paper you should have hand it to him/her if you have it with you, but yeah embassy is sometimes dont pay attention anyway after they say their words., now the best thing you can do is make your fiance call the embassy, for follow up and ask why this things happen. The embassy will give you the right answer and im sure this will help to your worries.

My wifes had been to AR, coz they says lack of documents but then again.. they dont ask for any documents back.. they just send her visa after a month.. Really strange huh? Manila is soo busy thats why I guess they sometimes not pay attention a lot..

    Good Luck for this!

Ask him to call as many times he could, and keep posting.. this will help for the other in the future..

i find it strange too coz when i was interviewed by the filipino pre-screener at first she asked the affidavit of support but when she find the affidavit in the original petition she then told me never mind this one will do. And when i had an interview with the CO she never asked for it too, but when i was at w37 the lady incharge was the one asking for it and told me they will still review my papers but the good thing she didnt give me a letter stating wait till you hear from us. I only got the appt. letter with the pink slip she then told me to pay delbros and go home right after. Has anyone experienced like what i've been through? Am so confused now....

  2. 7. When you plan to get married and where?

Strange question if you are on a K3 petition!

Hard to say if you are on AR or not. Some times takes a few days for the embassy to release the visas.

    I'm on K1

    regards,

    alexandra

when she asked me for my BC and NBI and told her how about my cenomar mam she then replied no need too and i saw her looking on my cenomar that was included in the petition. Am I in Ar?

  4. hello everyone,

i had my interview last sept. 13 and everything went fine the pre-screener only asked my BC, NBI, PICS AND SNAIL MAILS. Then a lady CO was interviewing me shes not nice but not rude too just in between and she asked me these questions

    1. How did you met?

    2. Wat website?

    3. Whats his job?

    4. Is he married before? How many times?

    5. Does he have children? How many? How old are they?

    6. Do you have children?

    7. When you plan to get married and where?

And i was able to answer all those questions correctly then she told me ok you're all set wait till your number be called again. Then only few seconds my number flashed on w37 then the lady told me we will still review your papers and asked me to submit the affidavit of support in which the pre-screener didnt asked for it and told me that the affidavit of support on the original petition will do. The lady on w37 then gave me the appointment letter together with the pink slip but there was no white letter included. Do they usually tell you that they will still review the papers when you go at w37? When i got out of the embassy i was so bothered about what the lady on w37 told me. And today i checked my visa with delbros thru texting them i got a reply stating the my visa is not yet released by the embassy. Could i be on AR? please enlighten me :(

  7. hello everyone,

i have the same problem with jj my first name was misspelled in my appointment letter and i have been trying to call the USEM to call their attention about this problem but i haven't been able to get to talk with anyone yet extension lines are always busy everytime i dial. I am just so worried it might cause problems when i have my interview this september. should i just fax them a letter to correct this error?

  8. we got same notice too that uscis will forward our papers directly to the listed consulate without mentioning that it will go thru nvc first but actually it did go to nvc because they are the ones who assign case number, just keep calling nvc and check if your papers are already there. hope you get positive response soon. goodluck
