hello please guys I'm confused. Do you get scheduled for an interview on when your priority date becomes current or based on when you were DQ

I think you made a mistake to your priority date. How comes you did not get interview appointment for the priority date which was up  long a go.

You're right i meant 2016. Wow you should have been scheduled since. I think you should contact them. Please let me know their reply

I have the same issue dear. My petition is f2B visa too. I have been documentarily qualified since December 2020 and it is in the queue waiting for an interview appointment. My priority date is Jan 5th 2006.

You have to be patient. Right now the visa bulletin for f2B visa is still in July 2015. It's going slow at the moment. Since your priority date is at 2020, I'm guessing it will take Several years before you get scheduled for an interview since they are still dealing with those in 2015.

Btw what year were you petitioned for?

OP did not state what visa category but with a PD of 2015 it is likely to be F2B (assuming OP posted in correct forum) not F2A. So PD definitely matters.

 

Also I am not sure you actually understand the meaning of current from that post. It doesn’t have to say C. Your PD needs to be earlier than the PD published in the visa bulletin for the case to be current. A visa interview will not be scheduled if the case is not current in Table A.

My Visa category is f2B. I guess there's no chance of me getting an interview this year as the visa bulletin is hardly moving

Hello everybody, I have been documentarily qualified since January this year, my Priority date is Jan 5th 2016. Right now the visa bulletin board shows that the PD is still at July 2015. 

Is there any hope for me to get an interview appointment this year. I am not sure I can wait till next year for personal reasons.

I was told that my priority date had to be current for me to be scheduled for an interview appointment.

My PD is in Jan 2016

Right now the visa bulletin is July 2015

I just want to know if I can still be scheduled for an interview this year

I thought the PD for f2B visa is now July 2015. You're supposed to have made your interview appointment by now. Please can you tell me when you were petitioned for?

Hello everybody. I am currently waiting for an interview appointment. My priority date is 5 Jan 2016. I noticed the visa bulletin is stuck in June 2015. I hope I will be able to get my interview soon. When is your priority date?
