My fiance and I are about to get married in the Philippines soon and we just met with our pastor to plan about the wedding. His main concern was... We didn't go with the affidavit of lieu route and use my US citizen in the wedding papers but went with the cenomar and used my Filipino Citizenship. And the pastor's concern was that since we are going to put down on the wedding contract both filipino citizen (and not dual or US citizen on my part) this "might" be an obstacle later on when i petition her to go to the US. Is this true? Getting an affidavit might take long since its covid..
