so technically i can apply for my citizenship already since i originally got my conditional permanent resident card in june of 07...so can i?

i have a question whether my conditional residency can go towards my 3-year citizenship requirement, i was married since 2007, got my conditional residency the same year and got my permanent residency in 2010, or do i have to wait for 3 years from the point when i got my green card, i do apologize i'm just trying to figure some things out

Thank God i received my green card in the mail back in January, what are the effects on my immediate family backhome, what are the overall benefits of me having my green card? travel, my brother, my mother? can i travel overseas, do i travel with my passport, how do i enter backhome for a vacation, do i use my passport, even though it's expired? do i show my green card when i go backhome? when can i apply for my citizenship? what are the perks?

ok so before i had just a regular SS# with ins authorization only writing on it but now since i got my PR card can i got to ss office and maybe change my SS card, if i do, what should i take and should i even take my old ss carD? thanx guys

Your greencard has been ordered, so I would assume, they are sending it as well..why else would they order it?

it just doesn't match, if you read the whole story, the officer said that he has suspicion on this marriage being valid, so my form i-130 is still under review, which is petition for alien relative, so the decision hasn't been made there, but my i-485 status says that it has been ordered, i guess i just don't know what's the deal, that's all

well, here i come,i'm on f-1 visa, i went to the interview yesterday, i'm married to a US girl, our interview was for 2.30 here in san antonio, we arrived 20 min in advance, waited for 1 hour till 3.30 then got called in, an officer made us swear to tell the truth, he asked a couple of questions then asked me to wait outside, i was out for 30 min, then he called me in, asked me whether i worked for this co, i lied but then told him the truth, then he asked me the questions about me and my wife, i answered all of them all right, dang we are married duhh!!!after 30 min of interrogating me, he had asked me if i had enemies, i mentioned a couple of names and then he called my wife in, and told us that the regular interview lasts for about 30 min and they got a anonymous tip from somebody about this marriage being fraud and it's under investigation right now, what does that mean? he told us that our stories match but we've an enemy out there,,,,nice guy but i don't know,,,,,he told us that we're gonna be receiving something in the mail within 2 weeks...investigation huh? very interesting, what does that supposed to mean? they gonna spy on us from now on?

As for your work permit, when did you apply and when did you get your first notice that they received it? If it's beyond 90 days you can schedule an infopass appointment to inquire about it.

i just checked the status of my application i-485 online and it said as of july 18th my card has been ordered,,,, they received my application(i-765) for ead on april 26th...so

no they didn't...is it bad if they didn't? wasn't i supposed to get my work permit way before the interview date? anybody?

Did they remove the I-94 from your passport?

so what made you think that was a good idea?

i was really nervous, it just came from nowhere, defensive mechanism, he didn't take my passport, didn't even look at the pics, just took our ids and some documents proving that we live together and have stuff on our name, so it's bad right? i think it was videotaped cause i had this huge black box screwed into the wall on my right side, i don't know guys, what do you think? also i've filed in april and still haven't gotten my work permit, they still didn't give it to me and filed for it in april
