  1. I lost my job beginning of 2009, and was unable gain any employment in 2009.

I am starting a job in March/April, and hopefully will be able to show new paystubs from my employer.

I am planning to file application for my wife in 2010. Can I use 2008 tax return? or should i use 2009 return that is pretty much unemployment benefits. I'm worried this will be looked upon as a negative even though I am employed at the time of filing.

Has anyone been through this situation? How will my unemployment viewed upon?

Trying to figure out the best way to proceed.

    Thank you all in advance

  2. My fiancee studied in London, England for some years. She worked illegally outside of her school during that time. This is within the last 5 years and therefore, counts as one of her residences in the last 5 years.

She went back to her country towards Oct/Nov 2005 and has been living there since then.

Should we mention her UK addresses?

We are now in a dilemma - Will USCIS or US Embassy will reject the K1 approval based on her illegally working in the third country (in our case UK) ?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Timeline: Hoping to file I-129F petition soon
