from my understanding, the household size includes parents you are applying for.
Do your previous tax returns (ex. 2 years out of 3) exceed the poverty line for household size of 5? That may help

I have been searching for an answer up and down in the forums, so starting a new thread.
I am sponsoring my parent, however, my past 4-5 years of tax filing has been with my spouse (joint filing). Now, do I put her as joint sponsor for Affidavit of Support for my parent?

just adding to this question... can the petiion be filed and evidence of meeting and relationship be added at the interview?
in other words, can we file petition strictly on online and telephone/video chat conversations? without having evidence of meeting personally?

I lost my job beginning of 2009, and was unable gain any employment in 2009.
I am starting a job in March/April, and hopefully will be able to show new paystubs from my employer.
I am planning to file application for my wife in 2010. Can I use 2008 tax return? or should i use 2009 return that is pretty much unemployment benefits. I'm worried this will be looked upon as a negative even though I am employed at the time of filing.
Has anyone been through this situation? How will my unemployment viewed upon?
Trying to figure out the best way to proceed.
Thank you all in advance

I agree with her address coming up in background check.
Does anyone know if US looks into her work history in England?
I know people have worked in US illegally and not had problems. I am not sure if it matters for fiancee visa.

My fiancee studied in London, England for some years. She worked illegally outside of her school during that time. This is within the last 5 years and therefore, counts as one of her residences in the last 5 years.
She went back to her country towards Oct/Nov 2005 and has been living there since then.
Should we mention her UK addresses?
We are now in a dilemma - Will USCIS or US Embassy will reject the K1 approval based on her illegally working in the third country (in our case UK) ?
Any help is very much appreciated.

Well I made enough last year, but the 2012 and 2013 I will need to combine income with my spouse.
